The Lyrics

For those that DKTOS, there is intentional missryhming and little " pacing ". This is mostly for telemarketers and people who knock at your door trying to sell you something. I have come up with rather inventive ways of late to deal with these types, but cannot put them here because they are rather, umm, disturbing ( to them, I find it hilarious ).
Hell, noo, I don't want to hear your mouth this year
Hang, up, don't
Even leave a message here

Man you are crazy
Not me, you're lazy
This is fair warning
Slowly they're learning

Oh, you No, told you once
To do not call

You should be ignited
I'd be delighted
Your bull$h!t bores me
On Sunday you'll see

Please stay away

Man you are crazy
Not me, you're lazy
This is fair warning
Slowly they're learning

Please stay away
Please go away
Don't call today
Please stay away

This matches the song well, but I didn't quite find it as funny as your other stuff. 5,4,5... I definitely can relate on the issue though...

Thanks MrMac, this song was hard to do for several reasons ( how do you come up with intentional missrhymes that fit the parody? ) PS- First submission from Jar or Flies CD!

When desperate for a match/rhyme for those last lines that don't wanna come easy you can always use www.rhymezone.com. It's funnier to do it yourself, but on the other hand there's nothing wrong with a little help if it makes the parody funnier/better.

Thanks for the rhymezone.com tip, K1chyd. However, it is kinda useless for DELIBERATE misrhymes ( as alot of AIC stuff is close but not perfect ), as they do not list " almost-rhymes ".

What the heck? How'd I miss this parody? Never would I miss a parody of "I Stay Away", one of my all-time favorite AIC songs (The song Would? introduced me to AIC, then became my fav, but I Stay Away and Down In A Hole permanently set me as an AIC fan). The parody is awesome and I, too, despise sales-calls.

Thanks Scawnny Johnny. Some of the more devious things I have done to telemarketers is tell them unless they are giving me a time machine for free I'm not interested as they just interrupted " activitiies " with my wife. Another one is that I say the person they are looking for is dead. And of course the classic: Say " Hold on, let me get them " and leave the phone off the hook and walk away.<> Those are the more " tame " things I do. :)

Remember the old Budweiser commercials where everyone greeted each other with "WHAZZZZAAAUP?" Yeah, several sales-calls stopped calling after I've done that to them...

LOL. The ones that piss me off the most are the automated ones ( which are illegal in Virgina ) that give you a number to call.

Yeah, one of those calls annoy me on my cell every other day, and there's no way to get it to stop. They need that law here in Texas, it would be such a help.
