 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Alice in Chains

Parody Song Title:

"Feed a Beak"

Parody Written by:

Peter Andersson a.k.a K1chyd

The Lyrics

Summer: Birds are no longer just plain horny, now they're more like just plain hungry, at least their young, and their beaks that will inherit the Earth(worm).
What's up, birds all over
Last years brood now grown

Breezed busy bees
Aims and prods to feed a beak
Cats hike to see
High up and they'll heed their tree

When they're big and feathered
Watch their aero-flight
When they're thin and older
They will chuck out all their nigh

Breezed busy bees
Maims a cod to feed a beak
Cats like to be
High up on a killing spree

If they're torn, uncover'd
Batma'am tots, bye-bye!
Young ones squeal in hunger
Soon they'll kick them out to fly

Breezed busy bees
Aims and prods, force-feeds a beak
Cats like to sneak
Hunt them and they'll shake the tree

Interlude, with the sound of flapping wings

Ahh
Pluck and climb

Now

Breezed busy bees
Maims a scrod to feed a beak
Cats, time to flee
High up, it a Phoenix Tree

Grease, ticks and fleas
For the squad will feed a beak
From out to sea
Bayous, in wood, weed and MEEE

DKTOS on this either. =) Curious, did you take a hint on the advice thread I started about the periods after a word to indicate a carried note?

Please answer me
Oh my God advice from me?
Those 5s you'll see
On this Alice parody!

Thanx Red Ant. You'll have to play that DKTOS joke on something else than Alice in Chains though, I figure that you, me, Stephen H and that McFister guy (a proctologist?) are the four people here one can count on to know the songs from at least the first two albums (I've had the third too myself but lost it).

As for using periods after a word, no, I learn't that in school (must have been awake more than I thought) but it's been corrupted and transformed to questionmarks etc on many of my older parodies.

Hey Peter, have you been in a coma for the past decade? How many people do you think are still listening to Alice in Chains in 2005? Thats right, only one person--YOU!. Grunge music went out of fashion at least 10 years ago and it never came back. Nobody knows these obscure Alice in Chains album tracks, therefore, they don't understand your parody. If you're going to write a parody, at least write something people can relate to.

Hallo ”Grunge is dead”! Normally I wouldn’t bother to replay to such a comment but since you actually bothered to leave the same one on TWO of my songs I figure you might actually come back to check for a reply. I’m aware that Grunge is supposed to be out of fashion, but we are at least four people here who have been writing parodies of AIC lately, which are as many or possibly even one more than rap in general, and just somewhat behind Frank Sinatra measured in popularity that way! ;-)

I’m doing this as a hobby and since some of AIC’s early stuff are still among my favourites I tend to bring them out to evaluate what others write if I’m online those days and sometimes that spawns picking up on one or two of the ideas I have for parodies to their songs myself. Should I ever be given the chance to do something like this for a living (yeah, that’ll be the day!) I will of course then focus on what’s hot rather than what’s not but until then I write to those songs I feel like writing parody to at the moment. With more than 30000 parodies on this site now I’m quite sure you can find something more to your liking if you really want too.

555. Interesting theme and read. And to Grunge is dead, your username is the same as one of my original song titles(although the lyrics have nothing to do with the title), I should sue you for copyright infringment(well, not really I just wanted to take a stab at you).

Stephan, it looks like you and Peter have BOTH been in a coma for the past decade! Peter thinks there are actually people who know the original song "Bleed the Freak" and would understand his parody of that song "Feed a Beak". You, on the other hand, think you invented the idea that grunge is dead, and that you own a copyright on those words. Copyright infringement!? Since when are the words "Grunge is Dead" copyrighted? The phrase "Grunge is Dead" falls into the public domain. It is owned by EVERYBODY, not just you. If you're going to accusde me of stealing my name from one of your parody titles, at least get your facts straight befroe you do.

Ummm... You don't take jokes very well do you? And you apparently didn't read my post properly, I said it is an original song, not a parody. I wouldn't really sue anyone over a name as it would be stupid. Learn to lighten up.
Grunge is Dead - June 24, 2005 - Report this comment
I dont need to lighten up, Stephan. If anybody needs to lighten up, its you. After all, you ARE an alice in Chains fan. Music can't get much more morbid than AIC. "I want you to kill me And dig me under I want to live no more" I want to taste a dirty, stinging pistol on my mouth and tongue I want you to scrape me from the walls If you enjoy listening to lyrics like that, then you have no business telling me to lighten up. Why don't you go listen to your Alice in Chains record collection! Just make sure there aren't any guns or knives nearby, because music like this will more than likely make you want to kill yourself!
Stephen aka Step-chan - June 27, 2005 - Report this comment
I'm actually more of a Nirvana fan than I am an Alice in chains fan. Same difference to you anyway. If you think that music like this would cause me to kill myself, get real. Only idiots would kill themselves over songs.
Stephen aka Step-chan - June 27, 2005 - Report this comment
Of course, I still like Alice in chains too. I like lots of different music from different decades, one of my first favorites ever was Aerosmith.
