The Lyrics

DKTOS? Well, I found a great MIDI here (may have to click 'refresh' to hear it) to get the feel of the song. I don't have a car with hydraulics, but if I did and wasn't married.......
[intro]

Yeah it's lowered now

And I can ease on down

When I'm bottomed out

The girls they scream and shout

You know I'm pimpin' my ride
I'm a man with flair
Pick up dates ev'ry night and day
Since it's lowered now

They say that guy is fly

Yes it's lowered now

Still I can drive somehow

When I come on scene

The girls all flock to me

You know I'm pimpin' my ride
I'm a man with flair
Pick up dates ev'ry night and day
Since it's lowered now

They say that guy is fly

They say his car is tight
[tempo change]
They say his bling does shine

They say his wallet's light

[solo, or is that so low?]

Even lower now

The hydraulics went out

Tow truck came on site

And hauled away my ride

You know repair costs are high
But I still don't care
I'm a man with a ride that's great
Since it's lowered now

But damn that bill's so high

Yeah, I say that bill's too high
[tempo change]
I paid that bill last night

You bet your a$$ I'll ride

Well, I guess I'm the one that should feel low, because I don't remember this song! (I had the album, lost it, and never replaced it ('cept some I now have as mp3s)). But I know I can pretty much always trust you on the pacing so I'll give you a 545. (I revisited three Spaff songs yesterday, hence my demand for funny is raised today) :-).

Thanks Peter, this is track 12 on Unplugged and Tripod, though it was written to the Unplugged version. The MIDI is also the Unplugged version.

I couldn't get the Midi to play, I probably would have remember the song if I had, but it's OK anyway.

So, it's the hydraulics that make that car lower? Ok...

Thanks Pat. There are several ways to lower a car; smaller wheels, cut springs and hydraulics/pneumatics. The latter 2 are for raising and lowering the car.

Clever read, Red....not able to d/l anything on home pc currently...so I will have to "DKTOS" as far as voting here.

DKTOS......er, I mean I read it....er, I mean....very educational, Red Ant, and a good get with the "solo/so low" pun - 555

555, I couldn't get the original song itself to download and your midi said it wasn't authorized. I think this parody is very clever.

Thanks Paul, Stu (lol) and Step-chan. I'm thinking perhaps this MIDI URL may change depending on IP to prevent hotlinking like I did b/c it still works for me (Windows Media Player).

I hope these three 5's raise you up some.
