The pacing was okay. I didn't find it funny at all though. And the song title is "I'm With You" by Avril Lavigne.
Yeah, it's really not funny. The pacing is alright, but it doesn't make any sense. And mermaids aren't real.

It's tricksy! We thoughtses it wrote a parody about us! *Hssss!* It takeses our name, talks about our lake, precious, and then eet ees parody about Potter. Eet ees bad parody. We hates it forever! We hates it forever! We kids because we loveses. But seriously, this is not very funny, and I read the books (and enjoyed them).
Maybe you should have mentioned in your song that this song is about Harry Potter 4... I doubt that everyone knows who "Ron" is and what "Book 4" is... it certainly confused me at least...
