The Lyrics

I forgot to allow comments on the last one, and I like comments, so I'm redoing this to allow comments. So let me know whatcha think, pleez. :)
You are, on fire
You're my, desire
But I, know you'll say
"Sorry, but I'm gay"

You're not, into girls
They don't, rock your world
So I won't, make you stay
But I wish you weren't gay

Tell me why - you're more attracted to men
Tell me why - your type has to be masculine
Tell me why - you have to swing the other way
I wish you weren't gay

I'm not, your fire
You can't, desire
For me, you're not straight
But I wish you weren't gay

Tell me why - we can't spent any time alone
Tell me why - you're turned on by testosterone
Don't know why - you want a male playmate
But I wish you weren't gay

Every time I
Meet up with I guy, and
Know all the right words to say, (yeah)
I don't know why, but
It seems when I try, it
Always ends up the same way

You're still, my fire
And my desire
But you (but you....but you....but you....)

I know that you'll still say....
(Say you'd rather have a one-night stand
With a tall and dark and handsome man
I still lament this every day
I wish you weren't gay)

Tell me why, you couldn't give me one try
Maybe I, could turn your focus off of guys
I don't buy, that it's built into your DNA
I wish you weren't gay

Oh, I wish you weren't gay

You don't buy it wasn't built into our DNA. . .but it was. . .I don't choose to like men, and I wasn't around anything that could have influenced it. . .I've always been drawn that direction, and it's been scientifically proven. . .there's nothing to buy into just like you can't buy into the world being flat, or some guys being attracted to one color of hair pver another.

I'm not trying to provoke an argument here. It's just a good rhyme. Or it could possibly mean that the person doesn't believe they're really gay and maybe it's just an excuse they're using, etc. It's not meant to be a debate, it's just for fun.
