Original Song Title:

"I Love You"

Original Performer:

Barney and the Backyard Gang

Parody Song Title:

"Thirst for Goo"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

It's almost that time for holiday eggnog!
Thirst for goo,
Thick 'n' tasty,
Southern Comfort eggnog quenches me
Drink so much,
No, October's not too soon,
Grab my cup, pinch of cinnamon too!

Thirst for goo,
Smooth as can be,
Might add a bit of rum & brandy
Love that stuff,
And yes, Jonathan approves,
In Walmart he'll be buying it too!
(But no alcohol does he use)

I buy traditional in the black box, but vanilla spice in the red box is good too.

yeah I think I bought a box of their Vanilla Spice eggnog last year to try it from what I remember it tasted somewhat like pumpkin pie and while good original IS still the best! 455

Jon, read the report here: http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/1125606

My local grocery store carries Silk Holiday Almond Eggnog for a buck fifty for a quarter gallon. Have you guys tried it? It's light, but refreshing. You don't really taste the almond until you finish the gulp. The aftertaste is strong.

Good for you, Steve! Silk Holiday Almond Eggnog is a non-dairy product. No eggs. No soy. No gluten. No casein. No lactose. No artificial colors or flavors. Non-GMO. Zero cholesterol and saturated fat. Only 45 calories per serving. In other words, everything that Rob and Jonathan despise! Drink and enjoy it in good health!

I have to ask again... PS are you sure you're not VM under a pseudonym? The first description you give of this eggnog is non- dairy! Btw, it's going too far to say that Jon and I despise the contents automatically. I've tried many eggnogs, even the lactose free type. We just prefer (key word) Southern Comfort brand. You should try it, it's great. And it's THAT time of year!

I am not VM under a pseudonym.

But you are, in fact, using a pseudonym are you not Public Service? Thought so,

Btw, I don't know if Jon has tried Silk Holiday Almond Eggnog at all...
Public Service - October 21, 2016 - Report this comment
I answered your question, Rob, about an alleged connection with VM. If you must know, my handle here is half a pseudonym, while your Private Sector is a full pseudonym. I am the great-great grandson on my mother's side of the writer Robert W. Service, the poet of the Yukon. Service is my middle name. It is a family name. As for "Public," I was just trying to express my intent. So what!?
