The Lyrics

He's dumped... he's dumped... he's dumped... Original song: here.
Fricking scram! Take out your mistress
I throw your clothes out on the lawn
Shout, yell and scold: “You cheating sleazebag!”
(Plus lots of bleeping) you are... dumped

Teddy bears stuffed in the garbage
Texta scrawls your photos out
Your loving cards stuck to my dartboard
Necklace in the grinder now

Duck and dive
Dishes flying round, now run
Soon I’m screaming on the phone
Fury of a woman scorned

Piss off, prick! Yeah, I’m growling lowly
You are toast once you bed the au pair
Got the flick, now get foot patrolling

Mass-email shameful things you’ve blurted
I trace keys round your car alot
Then I flush down your ‘Sorry’ flowers
And sell the gifts that you bought
Rant and screech
Banshee shriek meets lion’s roar
I’m compiling what you own
For a parcel to Darfur

Piss off, prick! Yeah, I’m growling lonely
Stomped and hosed all your shredded footwear
Pins I stick in my voodoo dolly

Loo seat left high
Your clothes always in tall piles
Your body stunk
You’d never clean the roof and
You spoke down
With my folks round
I faked each sigh
Goodbye-uh

Bike now black from petty arson
Those near your house SHOULD cast stones
Cuz you’re a dope
And I can’t cope
So you can blow it

Piss off, prick! Just get out now early
Truth exposed, you dickheaded oaf, yeah
Like you came, just go prematurely

I love Ben Folds Five and I'm glad to see this song making it onto the Ages of Amiright competition. Good luck, I loved it, but there's a lot of tight competition in this round.

OUCH. That's a harsh last line. Haven't heard the OS in a while, so I really cant confirm the pacing, but I do recall that the OS lines aren't all the same length. I'll fold some 5s into the intertubes and flush them your way.

So good to see you on the site, again. Great breakup (or pissoff) diatribe.

whoa, Emi and Luke on the same day...throw in one from ashkicksass and I'm starting to freak out - your link didn't work for me Luke, so I'm prematurely going (I don't do any of that other stuff) - 555

Haha, I accidentally left the word 'here' in the url bracket, which added it to the end of the number jumble at the end of the link: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=axpuVLQ_m4w

Whatelse can I say about this? I love Ben Folds Five, and I don't see them parodied nearly enough here on Amiright so keep 'em coming Luke.

Hey Luke...thanks for writing that killer breakup song I asked you for...how much do I owe you?

Ages---For me...the anger (which I identify with...which makes me sad)...infused in your lyrics, matched with the melancholy OS...(which I love, and always have...but makes me sad)...just put this one over the edge for me. I loved it. Seriously. I don't see how this won't make my top 5...probably top 2.

(Ages) Hey Luke... thanks for writing that killer breakup song I asked you foHEY WAIT A MINUTE.
Totally thrashed my "(He's A) Chick" idea, plus the ending sent ONE of us over the edge. ;-)

(Ages) Now that's just harsh. Funny, but harsh. Actually, not so funny, but funny enough. Barely.

(ages) I'm so happy I learned what an au pair was a few weeks ago :) And as Emi said, great last line :)

Your a poet, man. Great use of the original with soundalikes here. "I’m compiling what you own, For a parcel to Darfur" was a favorite. This kinda reminds me of your take on 'Mad World' on whatfreaks, which I also really enjoyed for the soundalikes. You know.

(Ages) Hadn't heard TOS in Ages, no pun intended, great job with this one Luke, very impressive pacing and rhyme scheme
