The Lyrics

This is the 3rd Bon Jovi song I've parodied. Somehow his songs are just asking me to parody them. Enjoy! This one's about the American's we've come to love: the obese.
This ain't a promo for the Atkin's diet
Put out a tray of food and I will consume it
I ain't gonna be just a cow in the crowd
You're gonna hear my voice
When I belch it out loud

Pants too tight
I just say "whatever"
I ain't gonna live forever
I'll soon have a heart attack and die
(Eat all night)
My heart doner was some guy on ebay
Like BK says
"I have it my way!"
I just wanna eat while I'm alive
Pants too tight

This is a fattening food that I have found
This is the reason I weigh 400 pounds
My new wonder invention is a Donut steak
Stuffing down some twinkies
and I'm eating fudge cake

Pants too tight
I stop eating never
I ain't gonna live forever
I'll soon have a heart attack and die
(Eat all food in sight)
I look like the Jared guy from Subway
Before he said
"I'll lose weight my way"
I just want to eat while I'm alive
Pants too tight

I can eat it all without any doubt
If you guys aren't careful I'm gonna eat your whole town

Pants too tight
its like Thanksgiving dinner
I ain't gonna live forever
I'll soon have a heart attack and die
Eat some pie!
I eat like the whole world's a buffet
I'm so fat
I sweat out parfait
I just want to eat while I'm alive

Pants too tight
I'll even eat liver
'Cause I ain't gonna live forever
I'll soon have a heart attack and die
(Pants too tight)
I really love food that is gourmet
Like Cartmen said
"I want some beefcake!"
I just want to eat while I'm alive
(Pants too tight)

Sorry, we released the original song in the year 2000, so you should have filed it under 00s not 90s.

Since years started and are counted one through ten, the year 2000 it really the LAST year of the 90's. The end of the century that was celebrated recently by many was partied on a year early. I know this is an old argument becuase people confuse timekeeping with their birthdays. There was no year "0".

I am well aware of that. However, you're thinking of the "200th Decade." I'll have you know that the "1990s" and the "200th Decade" comprise different periods. If you draw a Venn diagram, with one circle representing "the 1990s" and the other representing "the 200th Decade", you'll see that the year 1990 will be by itself in the "1990s" circle and the year 2000 will be by itself in the "200th Decade" circle. The years 1991 through 1999 will be in both circles (i.e., the "intersection"). Also, everyone should know intuitively that the "1990s" are, by definition, the years that contain "90" when you say them, that's why they're called that (That is, nineteen ninety, nineteen ninety-one, nineteen ninety-two, etc...).

I realize most people feel this way, and it is a matter of semantics, but I'm sure, Jon, that you were writing and recording this puppy so much into the 90's, that you could let this author slide for considering it to be in that decade.

Wow. Didn't know my lack of research would start such a debate! Thanks for caring I guess! So, did anyone actually read the parody???
