It's called Corona and it's some kind of bug.
Well, that's now our scene, caused by COVID-19.
Now, I spend my days in quarantine.

Can't visit my friends, doctors say that's a sin.
Every restaurant's become a drive-in.
You're safer at home, remember that.
They want to be sure where you're at.

I watch the days go by.
Quarantine.

They want to sure I'm alone all the time.
Stay six feet apart when you get in a line.
Non-essential businesses all have been closed.
I went for a test, they stuck a swab up my nose.

Can't buy my soda, I've got no mask for my face.
So tap water now has a familiar taste.

Another week goes by.
Can't even go out to visit you.
Turn on the computer and I'll see you on Zoom.

It's like a really bad sci-fi movie.
With regulations now for you and me.

Forty-six days gone by.

Binge-watched "Friends" again.
Washed my hands again.
Counted forty seconds.

The CDC says to go out less.
It stems the spread, so that's okay, I guess.
You should stay at home, clear and simple and plain.
Well, that's just fine. I'll play some video games.

It's now two months gone by.
