The Lyrics

Is there a shortage of parodies about how cell phone service providers are fisting their clients in the fine print? Judging from the reactions to the intro to my last parody there might be so I've taken it up... upon myself to do a full fledged examination of the woes of a fistee.
Should have called a whole lot less
For cell phone I signed up, now I have to pay
It was stupid I confess
The fine print tricks I've signed cost my ass the light of day

I was lured it was a free ride all the way
But then their debt collector ripped me open, hey

I've been fisted in the fine print
Cell phone scam, wallet's subject to wham bam
When they're cleaning out my bankroll
Fisted in the fine print
I'd knew jack, now I have to live on plaque
And I'm busted up from crack to sack

It is time to hang them up
The money that I lost it will not come back
Love them less than IRS
I'd thrust my phone up theirs, but it's at the repo man

Poor connection in all tunnels was a sign
Free I though until they grabbed the ass of mine

I've been fisted in the fine print
High and dry, cell phone service' makes me cry
When they're cleaning out my bankroll
Fisted in the fine print
They get rich, I'm their inmate worn out bitch
And I'm busted up from crack to sack

All they offered, support up in Assghanistan
My blood thirst 'wakens as my dooough trickles in their hand

I've been fisted in the fine print
Fisted in the fine print
Oh my Gawd, wish I'd told them all to sod
Now they're cleaning out my bankroll
Fisted in the fine print
Hear me hoot, down and out and destitute
As I'm busted up from crack to sack
Fisted in the fine print
I've been fisted in the fine print
The original song can currently be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZYfux4GZSE and is a Swedish classic because it won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991, on the exact same day as Sweden won the Ice Hockey World Champion and the Table Tennis (Team) World Championship, beating China in the finals. Giving an original in Swedish new lyrics in English is a first for me here so I hope you don't probe too deep for advanced rhymes, I've played it safe on that account with hopes of matching the pacing as much as possible instead.

Much funnier than I had imagined! Congrats on the fist (typo intentional) submissions of this song and artist, and for what I'm guessing is the first song in Swedish parodied to English. Lotsa great lines, but "And I'm busted up from crack to sack" and "Assghanistan" stood out. 5s again. I think this might be a strong SOTM contender... then again, I might be talking out of my ass. Can you hear me now? lol

(SOTM) It's tough to judge a parody to a song I can't understand (which is my failing.) It's a clever idea. 544

In the video, those had to be the most ridiculous dancers I've ever seen.

(SOTM) I don't have the benefit of the YouTube right now, but this works out funny just reading it...which always garners high praise. I promise I will give the song a listen, too. But yah, god stoff!

(SOTM) DKTOS, but thanks for the video. It was hard for me to judge because the pacing threw me off in places. But that was a catchy song and the thought of parodying a song in a foreign language seemed funny and clever to me. 444

(SOTM) youtube says the video has been removed due to violation, so I don't know what the OS must have been about, Peter - I think you'd need the OS to do this justice with the internal rhymes like "Hear me hoot, down and out and destitute" - 555 on trust though

(SOTM) Reads well...anything about telemarketers gets a brownie point with me!

Translation parodies are always hard to do, slightly like Insturmentals, but you did a great job on this one!

Too bad about the original source, here a low video quality alternative with acceptable sound though:

SOTM - Creative idea, pacing is good and your substitute rhymes work well.

Probably the weirdest parody EVER just because of the OS. Still, weirdness does not decline in awesomaty. 5-5-5

Thought I commented on this first time around - loved the rant, and know exactly where you're coming from :-)

(SOTM) Finding the OS was a pain, but interesting song target. ..and Red Ant just informed me as I was reading this that it is because you are Swedish, so congrats on what really was a very excellent write.
