"Politicians"

The Lyrics

This song is not specifically about Democrats or Republicans, it's about how they are out of touch with reality and rather than protect children and make laws to protect them, they'd rather push laws that do little or nothing to protect them while givin criminals more reason to reoffend. It's about politicians not understanding the people they govern at all.
You think I'm a liberal pile of garbage
And you've signed so many laws
I guess it must be so
But still I cannot see
If the idiot is me
How can there be so many that you don't know?
You don't know ...

You think you run whatever state you march in
The people are all sheep and it's a game
But I know every dem and pub and person
Has a dream, has a prayer, and has a name

You think the only people who are worthy
Are the people who vote and fall for you
But if you took the time to meet your servants
You'll learn that no one is perfect, nor are you

Have you ever heard a pagan sing to her greens
Or asked a sinning person why he sinned?
Can you learn to love the people of the city?
Can you love with all the might you have within?
Can you love with all the might you have within?

Come meet the homeless families of the suburbs
Come see the painful memories of your work
Come kneel and look so deeply all around you
and for once, don't think about what their vote's worth

The ex-con and the homeless are my brothers
The workers and their families are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a city, in a loop you can not bend

Have you ever tried to contact a hated man?
Or asked a sex offender why he did?
You need to try to go and protect all of your kin
But no list can defeat proper parenting

How high will the countries' debt go?
If we don't slow down, then we'll never know
And you'll never hear a pagan sing to her greens

Or why a hated person did what he did
You need to open up your mind and start adhearing
You need to learn about yourself and of your kin

You can hate the world and still
All you'll have is hate until
You can open up your heart and live again.
I know this song will tank. . .because too many people are close minded on topics aforementioned. . .that's why I'm annonymous and always will be because I am scared of those who disagree with my opinions, because they don't understand peace only hate. . .and hate will always control them. . .I don't have time to hate anyone and that's the bottom line.

True enough, but never forget that this all goes for journalists too. Journalists... you can always tell when they are lying: the camera is on.
