The Lyrics

Here's for all the Bears, Vikings and Cowboys' fans out their who share my anti-Packers sentiment. I'm a Colts fan, btw and the last time the Quackers played in Indiana, the Colts got their first win of the season!
Tell all the people across the USA
I hate the Green Bay Quackers
I don't care who won the first super bowl
I hate the Green Bay Quackers

Indy, Chicago, Detroit, and Tampa Bay
Are better than those slackers
They came to Indiana, the winless Colts had a field day
They all crunched them up like crackers!

Their fans don't wear shirts when the thermometer's in the red
I hate the Green Bay Quackers
They wear those stupid cheese wedges on their heads
I hate the Green Bay Quackers

Their idol Brett Favre can't even pass the ball
The other team gets to sack her!
They play even worse than the poor Chicago Bears
That's why I hate the Green Bay Quackers

Hey friends, let's us all come to Lambeau Field
And heckle the Green Bay Quackers
Who wants to throw the first banana peel
And try to trip the Green Bay Quackers?

We're rooting for the Vikings, or even for the Bears
whoever plays those cocky jaw-flappers.
We'll take a dozen kegs of beer and a hundred crocks of cheese
And throw them at the Green Bay Quackers!!!!!

I see a Packer fan has been here.... Well, I'm sure there are some Bears and Vikings out there willing to challenge him or her :E

The Dolts? Ah yes, the Dodgers of the NFL. Go back to Baltimore where you belong! How about a trade, team for team? Then Indy would finally have a defense that didn't involve Reggie Miller!

Well, considering the Colts will win the AFC South with a 12-4 record after beating Houston this Sunday, and the Pacers are leading the East at 21-8 and trail only Sacramento and the Lakers in the West, I'm not exactly complaining. Besides, anyone who can give lip to Spike Lee and still nail 3-pointers has my respect.

You hate the Green Bay "Quackers"? I hate the Minnesota "Vile Things". Sorry, the parody is not that funny. Bitterness and jealousy of a superior franchise is not really humor. But hey, I lived in Minnesota myself for a few years, and what I would say is this... I didn't get the impression that Minnesota fans were very appreciative of their team. They've been pretty successful over the past 20-25 years, with a lot of division titles and playoff appearences. Still, all I ever heard was "Vikings suck Vikings suck" the whole time I lived there. Say something positive about your team instead of just bagging on the Packers. Your jealousy is screaming out. Better luck next year.

Uh, I'm a Colts fan, and the Colts have a division title. While I like Culpepper, he's no Peyton Manning. Btw, I got my Anti-Packer attitude by spending 13 years near Chicago, so if I rooted for another team besides the Colts, it would be the Bears, but then again, how many times have the Bears made the playoffs in the last 10 years? Thanks for your input, though :) -- MM

This parody has been recorded on cassette and should be in the hands of Chicago-area and Twin Cities DJ's by the time the NFL season starts. It is soon to appear as my first parody recording on amiright as well. I also plan to send my parody of "Bennie and the Jets" about Roy D. Mercer to KMOD later this summer, and it will be posted here as well. My third recording will be "Buy a Fridge For Your Troubled Daughter," which has been popular with the fans here. -- MM

GOOD NEWS for all you Packer Smackers out there. This parody has displaced Eddy J. Enterprises for the #1 spot on the Yahoo search engine under "Packer Polka". Serves the Quackers right! -- MM

Well I found the song quite amusing, lol. But since my team beat the quackers sunday 21-10 I'll let that line "They play even worse than the poor Chicago Bears" slide for now. I'm just happy happy happy! I'm a lifelong Bears fan so there's no love lost for green bay here.

The Bears are showing signs of improvement to be sure, and I loved seeing them win at Lambeau. I originally came up with the idea back in '97 when my Colts, then 0-10, won a shootout with the Quack the year after the infamous '97 Super Bowl. Today the Colts won by a more decisive 45-31, and Manning had 5 TD's and 392 yards. That certainly made my day :) Anyway, glad you like the song. If you type "Packer Polka" into the Yahoo search engine, this very page comes out on top. It passed up the Eddy J Enterprises site (home of the original Packer Polka) a long time ago!-- MM

LOVE IT!!!! I absolutely hate the Packers, and will root for even the Vikings and God-awful Randy Moss over the Packers. Thanks for the song, I am going to post it on my Live Journal site for all my cheesehead friends to see.

I grew up in the Twin Cities and recently reside just across the St. Croix river in 'sconny land. My boss here is from central Wisconsin (near Tomah) and is a Vikings fan. After asking him how he is a Vikings fan growing up from the middle of Wisconsin he gave me the most sensible reply Ive ever heard, "Because I grew up smart." He stated. Isnt it obvious to you packer slackers that football is not all about titles? My family, and friends have been loyal to the Vikings ever since I can possibly remember among many many others. Face it green bay, unlike the Vikings and Bears, you have 2 teams that hate your guts and its not jealousy either - because if it was, we would have named one of our teams the Hormel HotDogs and wear big sausages on our heads...

Well, what can be said. There are a lot of rivalries in the NFL and many people hate winners. The Packers are very much hated by many fans of teams who can't live up to the tradition in Green Bay and throughout Wisconsin for their football teams....The Packers and the Badgers have both had their up and down years and like any other teams throughout the country we have our fans who at best can communicate with terms like "suck" or "kiss my ---", but the stands in Wisconsin seldom have an empty seat. Go Packers, Go Badgers. And Michael, I am sure you have a lot of talent...too bad it didn't show through in this particular parody...better luck in the future. Peyton and his receiving corps is very talented but as the Colts have seen...Vikings and Bears, too, you can have all the talent in the world but it takes more than talent to put all the pieces together and hold them together through the BIG game...
Dear Dan - March 19, 2006 - Report this comment
Just wanted to say...when you follow a team that has not won a title a Super Bowl title in the history it can't be about titles...but when you have won 12 of the 15 world championship games you have played in their is a sense of pride in that accomplishment. If you were a Twins fan you might at least have some idea of that sense pride. A small market team showing all the rest they can do it. I am not a Twins fan but have respect for their accomplishments...perhaps MN should become a baseball state because they don't seem to have things together in the football realm.

I never heard of this Packer Polka but, I read it, and it was real funny. I gave it a 3,5,5. With the way they've played this season, let's just say that they suck and Aaron Rodgers will suck even more than Brett Farve

There's a better song where the chorus lyrics are: "God took a turd the size of a state... and he named the stinkiest part Green Bay" Don't know the name of it, but trying to track it down.
