The Lyrics

For AFW, because he likes Westerns :)
Warrior, without a horse, walks in the broad daylight…
On a quest for adventure, aims to make things right
A six-shooter on her left, right, another for quick use…
In search of a tall stranger, the one she’s gonna shoot

Twin doors are seen in a town so bleak…
Where her prey is drunk, and within reach
A “Lady of Shadows”- how far she has come,
Walks into the Saloon, men folk are stunned

Crowd forms a semi-circle, that "Bitch" has returned…
Only she’s not a child, and now the tables have turned
Thievin‘ murderer, his name is Roy,
Outcast from his pack, for his bloodlust joy

Three outlaws accompany him…
Their future together looking’ bleak and grim
From different states, but the same land,
Robbery and murder go hand in hand

In a city called Mudd, enemies meet once again…
Eyes on her prize, she’s gonna make ‘em feel pain
Reachin‘ for their guns just ain‘t that smart,
Hail of bullets fired, then their souls depart

Warrior, without a horse, walks in the broad daylight…
On a quest for adventure, aims to make things right
A six-shooter on her left, right, another for quick use…
In search of a tall stranger, the one she’s gonna shoot

Not much of a fight, their lives ebbing away…
Bar- blood is splattered, a high price they paid
Retribution for a life of sin, Roy struggles to breathe,
Shot in the chest, his reign of terror has ceased

And as he dies there‘s no next of kin,
Led a life of debauchery, of booze and loose women,
Blonde Belle Fury is both happy and sad,
‘Cause Roy’s death won’t bring back dear ol’ mom and dad

Gunslinger, she’s not in Kansas anymore,
She turns and walks away, she settled the score
And not a soul speaks in a Saloon re-painted red,
Belle hath no fury… as four men lie dead!!!

Outside she travels down a long, long road…
Not to roam, miles fifty, and five hundred, to the place in the desert that she now calls home
Long walk, Marilyn, as a breeze catches her hair…
Pistols reloaded, who knows what awaits out there…

Yet she doesn’t care

Warrior, without a horse, walks in the broad daylight…
On a quest for adventure, aims to make things right
A six-shooter on her left, right, another for quick use…
Unmasked avenger, with nothing to lose…

Shout it in the West, "Belle Fury is loose!"

A mix of Walmsley's poem and my female gunslinger character Belle Fury (Marilyn Mason).
