There’s a creature on the runway and the delayed flights are lots
It is far away from its own homeland so the schedule’s gone to pot
The country critter ran far away and it seems so nervous now
It can’t understand what’s going on and having a cow

And it’s Wombray, it’s a wombat
I gave it that name yesterday
I hope it's gone soon so this all ends
But it’s Wombray, it’s a wombat
And it just stays there, our patience takes
We’re gonna get that stupid creature gone again

So then it breaks out of the trap, and it runs all around this place
Until we get this creature again it’ll wreak havoc today
I said “It will be roadkill soon”, it finds shallow water
If it’s still walking after midnight, it couldn’t be drunker

When it gets bored it goes away
But its patience never seems to end

Acts like it’s the last chance at the bat
Why won’t it get back to its own homeland again, why not

A stowaway, on the cruise ship’s end
