The Lyrics

Now there's nowhere to hide
I'm enjoyin' the ride
Gonna wreck you good
And then I'll leave you behind
I will alter your route
Turn you inside out
Leave nothing' but pain and suffering
Gonna hit the center
Part of your fender
Watch you spin around 'til you end up in the median
You'll be screwed
When I'm through with you

It's your turn, so I'll let you have it
Prepare for judgement day
You see your time has come to pay
I'm ticked off and I'm feelin' playful
Insane, illogical
I'm gonna take you off the road
I'm so sick of careless drivers
Hang up and say farewell
I'll see you burn in bloody he--el

Now there's nowhere to hide
I'm enjoyin' the ride
Gonna wreck you good
And then I'll leave you behind
I will alter your route
Turn you inside out
Leave nothing' but pain and suffering
Gonna hit the center
Part of your fender
Watch you spin around 'til you end up in the median
You'll be screwed
When I'm through with you

So callous when you ran me
Off the road now I'm behind
Watch out I'm coming after.you
You had the nerve to curse me
Flip me off and speed ahead
Contented that you drove me off the edge

Now there's nowhere to hide
I'm enjoyin' the ride
Gonna wreck you good
And then I'll leave you behind
I will alter your route
Turn you inside out
Leave nothing' but pain and suffering
Gonna hit the center
Part of your fender
Watch you spin around 'til you end up in the median
You'll be screwed
When I'm through with you

You'll atone and you'll learn you don't own the streets
Take heed, this is simple
Drivin' blind with your eyes closed
Pray when I get close
Wrap you 'round a lamp post

You'll atone and you'll learn you don't own the streets
You're not gonna flee me
Drivin' blind with your eyes closed
Wrap you round a lamp post!

Now there's nowhere to hide
I'm enjoyin' the ride
Gonna wreck you good
And then I'll leave you behind
I will alter your route
Turn you inside out
Leave nothing' but pain and suffering
Gonna hit the center
Part of your fender
Watch you spin around 'til you end up in the median
You'll be screwed
When I'm through
When I'm through with you!
You'll be screwed when I'm through with you.

Perfect! Yours is the first good parody of this song I've seen on this site. It's such a shame too, because I like Eve 6.

Thanks Josh 999 and thanks also to the fake Melhi who thanked Josh at a time I wasn't home and was nowhere near an Internet connection. (What the @#$% is up with that?!?)

( ABC-F 05 ) DKTOS, but was funny and judging from the 9 other 555 you got I added one as well.
Melhi - May 20, 2005 - Report this comment
Thanks Red Ant! I thought dktos might be an issue with this one, so I'm trying (& failing) to find a good pacing aid, as I type this.

To finish off... yet another DKTOS. Think I recognized about four or five this time around. This must have felt really good to get out of your system, Melhi :-)

Melhi - June 06, 2005 - Report this comment
Thanks for having a read-through, Kristof. Wish I could have found a good copy of the original, this one has such a fun cadence and rhyme scheme to play around in... (at least I think so) some of you might really have enjoyed besting my effort on it. :)

Wasn't the author of this parody originally known as Melhi? Did she change her name???
A. Person - March 08, 2007 - Report this comment
I'm wondering WHY she changed her name??
Melhi - June 02, 2008 - Report this comment
A. Person -- not a huge mystery, rather boring, actually. I was running for public office and was told to put more distance between certain of my webbed creative works and my real name to prevent the press from hijacking my campaign off message. I refused to go as far as I was asked. An author name change was the fastest and easiest way to accomplish an added buffer, on this particular site... even though it affected my catalog in its entirety when only a couple of my parodies were at issue. My catalog is still easily traced to me, it simply requires a little more effort and a few more clicks to connect the dots than skimming through a few Google results summaries.
Jonathan S. - July 08, 2008 - Report this comment
Hilarious. The chorus is especially wel-executed. Triple five.

So are you back to being Melhi again, as posted in your last comment, or you still Moo Rocca? Whatever you are, it's all good. and so is this parody
