The Lyrics

Feng shui is one of those things that just deserves to be made fun of.
Turn it up, turn it up, turn it upside down
Turn it up, turn it up, turn it upside down
Turn it up, turn it up, turn it upside down
Turn it up, turn it up, turn it upside down

Turn the bed around
It's feng shui in action
Turn it upside down
Pretend you're in traction
Love my chi, yes

These curtains don't look pretty
They're opaque and we cannot see the city
When you hear the sound of the buses beepin'
Then you'll know that's the reason why I'm weepin', and
Woah yeah

Turn the bed around
Don't you get the feeling?
Turn it upside down
Bolt it to the ceiling
Love my chi, yes

Turn the bed around
Paint the headboard chartreuse
Turn it upside down
Use wood from a caboose
Love my chi, yes

Some people like their retro,
But it just don't go with my set, no
And you see I've made up my mind about it
It's got to be the incense, no doubt about it, woah woah
'cause when the decorator starts playing
Gonna look like Martha Stewart, with the kitsch, kitsch, kitsch
Makes me wanna paint the walls pink yeah, yeah, yeah
And when the painter starts staining the floor
He stains that oak with the orange-tinted varnish
With the splat, splat, splat, splat, splat, splat of the brush, hey

Turn the bed around
Looks too good to measure
Turn it upside down
Blood rush acupressure
Love to turn it
Love to fern it
Love to furnish
Love to my chi, yes

Turn it up, turn it up, turn it upside down
Turn it up, turn it up, turn it upside down
Turn it up, turn it up, turn it upside down
Turn it up, turn it up, turn it upside down

Turn the bed around
I can't wait to start, yeah
Turn it upside down
Class up my apartment
Love my chi, yes

[SOTM] No complaints here, it was funny, and it looks like it took you a while to write. d;^){-<

(SOTM) You mean people don't normally bolt furniture to their celing? Damn, I guess I'm going to have to take that couch out now...

Some great rhymes and subs, Jay. I particularly like "bolt it to the ceiling" and the Martha Stewart line, but it's solid all the way through. And I totally agree with your introductory comment.

SOTM - A 1,09 long sample is a bit odd IMHO, but since it's the best I've found so far: www.emotionband.net/listen.html

(SOTM) - gotta give you 5s just for the idea of Turn The Bed Around, and the jump from that line to writing a feng shui parody - which I kind of believe in but still think is ripe for lampooning - good pacing too, mustang - 555
