The Lyrics

As festival season approaches, I decided to write a song about the festival season. (I have left out the backing singers, as none of the lyrics online include them.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6phwuXPafuA This is my 100th parody. A big thank you to Am I Right, and everyone who helped me get to this point. More parodies coming soon.
Well this weekend is going to be fantastic,
Lots of music,
So dramatic.
And they've got an amazing line up.

I'm not good at ticket buying
No I'm no good at all.
But ones that you're supplying, the price is terrifying

Better hurry up,
'Cause I'm a music fan,
And I'm supposed to leave at two-o-o.
Better hurry up,
They're my favourite band
Going to festivals is the thing to do.

They're the ones that I want,
They are the ones I want.
Oo-oo-oo pricey.

They're the ones that I want,
They are the ones I want.
Oo-oo-oo pricey.

They're the ones that I want,
They are the ones I want.
They're what I need, oh yes indeed.

Gotta get tickets for my sisters,
and some tent pegs and some rods o yeah.
Wish the support act would get off, The Stones are rock gods o yeah.
Buy your tickets from the store, or just get them at the door.
I will not care one bit if it starts to spit, stop whining.

Please stop raining; we're going to be here a while.
The sun would really make me smile.
Eating ice cream, and then start singing. Voices multiplying.

Wish people would stop littering and just use bins, o yeah.
You hear the first chord. The murmur dies down and the set begins, o yeah.
With a collection of radio jocks, this festival really rocks.
My time here isn't dragging, and my ears are ringing.
Sun is shining.

This weekend is such a blast,
This day has ended so fast.
Heard a band, good as can be,
and now I have bought their CD.
Can believe we're going away.
Should have been longer by rights.

Paul Weller, Weller, Weller, huh.
Tell me more, tell me more, did you come here by car.
Tell me more, tell me more, was it open bar?

When I got there, found a spot to camp.
The guy beside me has a gas-powered lamp.
I stayed the night, put my fly sheet on the ground.
Couldn't get to sleep because of the sound.

This was fun, weekend in the sun.
Can't wait to get home and watch the highlights.

Play some more, play some more. This is such an amazing night.
Play some more, play some more. Don't stop there tonight.

Weekend's over, this is where it ends.
Maybe next year, it all depends.
But I am going to get the money somehow.
If they don't all just sell out.
I've had to wade through muddy streams.

But oh those festival niiiiights.

(Festival, festival, festival.)
