Basically a song about the periodic tables...this idea came to me today when I heard my chem teacher refer to Florine as "Atomic number 9," and from there I built this parody...enjoy...

Not quite as good as The Elements, by Tom Lehrer. But definitely the *second-best* parody about the periodic table I've heard ;-).

Very clever and very original. An inspired exploitation of the Periodic Table! If there was a fourth voting category for "How Original", I'd give you a 5 in that as well - but you'll have to settle for 5-5-5.
I never liked the original song itself but your parody makes it all better. It'd probably help if I knew a little somthing about the periodic tables, but overall it's funny.

Good job Michael. 5 stars. I have just added a new Shania Twain parody to the Shania Twain section that I think you would enjoy. There is even a link to a sample of the original song. Any comments or votes would be graciously appreciated. This is a parody of "Whose Bed Has Your Boots Been Under?" and although it says written by "Twain/Lange", it was ofcourse written by me.

I'm not really feeling the pacing on this one - incredibly amusing, and the chorus is right on, but the verses seemed a bit off in places. So I'm afraid you're only getting one 5 from me.
