Is this even a real song/artist?? Is it on youtube? I even looked on allmusic.com and it's not even there.
Yes, Marilyn McGraff sang it on television for a commercial. YouTube doesn't have everything. I have posted on a range of celebrities like actresses who have sang on TV shows, rare commercial songs, anime songs off soundtracks, rare movie songs, tribute songs from award shows, etc...
Follow-up. English take on "She's Got the Look" for cosmetics. Originally by Roxette, 1989, and aka as "The Look" used by an Indian cosmetics firm sung by Aishwarya Rai. US version substituted That for The. It was about makeup. I adapted Mat Sinner's last line of his "She's Got the Look" to end my parody which is symbolic of the "Watership Down" character the Black Rabbit of Inle. Got it? As stated before YouTube doesn't have everything and neither does Wiki. I did 100 pages for Wiki and they still stole about 50 more pages from my online books! Does allmusic.com have all of Selena's songs, including singing with Los Dinos? No! Do they have every commercial song? Of course not. And who are you to question me as Number Two parodist with 2815 parodies spanning all genres plus unconventional materials with over 525 individual artists from all time periods? I've created, by myself, at least 25 new artist pages here and have been first to cover acts like Pussy Riot, all of Gaga's unreleased songs, etc... so don't bring this up again. I'm sick of nobody's taking cheap shots at me. Try putting up 2815 parodies plus 4105 music submissions in little over 4.5 years. No one here is like me. I am unique and keep it real. Where are your parodies Gumbo???
If a rabbit's foot were lucky, it would still be attached to the rabbit. One song I have often seen referenced over the years is "Eve of Destruction" by Bob Dylan. I collect cover versions on vinyl and CD. Dylan, though often attributed as the writer (actually P.F. Sloan and Steve Barri) is probably the only folk/protest singer of the era who did not record EOD. (There is a cool acronym). Ever hear of a song called "Prepared for Killing" by Kathy Gregory? A real rarity would be "Your Stud Superstar" by Jimmie Joe Collins. Only 3 copies known to exist, and I have or at least had two of them. Quite a story behind that one.
