The Lyrics
This is my first Megadeth parody on AmIRight and 80th overall on the site. The topic of this opus is the evil series of cover CDs known as Kidz Bop. Since 2001 or so they have not only brought the music industry more shame than it already has suffered, but also brainwashed thousands of kids across the nation and even overseas. In case you're wondering, Kidz Bop operates by taking today's hits (which are already low-class and wanting in virtuosity) and having little kids "sing" (if it is to be called that) parts of the songs. I decided to write this parody when I heard that Kidz Bop released a CD of Beatles covers. That did it for me.
Kidz Bop does make ears bleed;
I myself have felt the pain.
They scream for the money
That the record labels gain.
If they long to make one song

Their covers of the classics
Won't stand the test of time;
And furthermore, I'm not quite sure

AMEN, BRUTHA! Kidz Bop albums are HORRID. Whoever thought of them is a musical Anti-Christ. After a butt-ugly 15 year period or so of crap pop and wussy (c)rock music rock-n-roll is finally rising like a phoenix from the ashes but you won't find it on the rigged Top 40 (yet). Think of all the good homes built, the food for all people, the medicine for all, the technological improvements to better our lives - all with the dollars pissed away making Kidz Bop trash. What a gross tragic crime. Rock-n-roll 4EVAH!
