What the heck is marmite?
Soup cooked in a large pot. But it doesn't make sense in the context of this Parody.
Marmite is yeast extract: thick, brown, strong-tasting goo you can stick in your sandwiches (if you know what Bovril is, it's a veggie version of that)
Marmite is similar to Vegemite, only British.
