Parody Song Title:

"Enter Hang Man"

Parody Written by:

Tomario

The Lyrics

shave your hairs little man
silhoutte is done
you've screwed everyone
schmuck your in storm begin
weep your spree wears thin
till the hangman he comes

keeping your eyes open
starting your pillow fight

civil right
patent right
un-der hand
whatso-ever clever man

religious song cut the night
lawyers proxy fight
it's gonna be al-right
screams of law seems the liar
feeds my lawyers ire
and pull strings up-hill fight

weep when rules are broken
gripping your bible tight

it's my right
him to fight
make a stand
off to take the witness stand

now i stay downtown dirt cheap
(now i stay downtown dirt cheap)
paid by law for bed and sheet
(paid by law for bed and sheet)
if i try to shake and bake
(if i try to shake and bake)
say the word my cell out break
(say the word my cell out break)

com-mittal maybe judge speach is slurred
and never mind the term incurred
it's the last feast on which you fed
it's your bad debt e-nough said

proxy fight
black and white
cash in hand

extra might
final flight
cuffs on hands
i guess i'll never under-stand

DKTOS, but it seemed such a powerful statement it warranted 5's. Sometimes parodies take on a new meaning or a more powerful one when read wihout benefit of music.

(Parody challenge) Very interesting...a little hard to comprehend whether reading with or without the song. I admire the fact that you took this song on in a semi-serious vein.

(parody challenge) I agree with agri...a little hard to read, but nevertheless a very compulsive parody. 555

(Parody Challenge) Slick and dark -- hard edge, powerfully written.

(Great Parody Challenge) Hm. In terms of Adagio's comment, I would have to agree that this is very much written in her style, one that is perhaps less funny but more thoughtful. While that may not have been the original intent of AmIRight, we always have room for a few more pensive poets around here. Great effort.

(Great Parody Challenge) Yeah, a bit hard to read, and I'm unsure what it's about, but at least the pacing was very well done.

Ah, my OS pick! I chose this one partially for the genre, and also because my incomplete parody "Enter Tourists" is the oldest one I still haven't finished nor scrapped (read: 14 months in limbo). You did a great job on the rhyming and pacing, and also the prayer part. Metallica's lyrics are never funny (unless you count St. Anger's, which were unintentionally so), so I'm not worried about that here - this is Metallica-esque. In other words, you succeeded in using TOS here. 555.

(PC) I DKTOS and can't find it either tomario, so I tried to imagine Metallica doing this, and that was bizarre in itself - I'll take Jack's word on the pacing - 555

I agree with Agrimorfee, et al. Deep song to one of my favorite OS'es. Well done.
