The Lyrics

This song is about a guy getting divorced, who just keeps getting the screws put to him without getting a break. The title is a play on words, i thought it would be nice to turn such a happy song into a really bad time. Thanks for the support on my recent songs.
On the first day of X-Mess
my ex wife gave to me
1 divorce paper
and clamouring for alimony

On the second day of X-Mess
Her lawyer sent to me
two subpoena's
and a clamouring for alimony

On the third day of X-Mess
my ex wife gave to me
three death threats,
two subpoena's
and a clamouring for alimony

On the fourth day of X-Mess
my ex wife sent for me
four flaming turds
three death threats
two subpoena's
and a clamouring for alimony

On the fifth day of X-Mess
That b*tch she got to me
FIVE NERVOUS BREAKDOWNS!!!
Four flaming turds
Three death threats
two subpoena's
and a clamouring for alimony

On the sixth day of X-Mess
my ex wife gave to me
six years of payments
five nervous breakdowns!!
four flaming turds
three death threats
two subpoena's
and a clamouring for alimony

On the seventh day of X-Mess
My ex wife sent to me
7 debts, in waiting
6 years of payments

awesome! not the divorce thing, that's brutal. the fact that you pulled off this parody so well! I imagine, that it would be a difficult song to parody! Merry Christmas! 455

Thank you, i don't think people realize how hard it is to make song like this funny.

Well done, and you posted all the lyrics which makes it much easier to read. Sad subject, but I'm sure many will relate. I can only imagine how hard this one is to parody. Though, it does seem to be a popular challenge. The part about the mental breakdown was a nice touch.

Thanks, always appriciate the support, it took me about two hours rewritting and editing to finally be satisfied with it. I might put out another song today, i might just give this site up, i really don't think enough people truly appriciate the work i put into these. No one else could pull this off as well, if they can i'd love to see it so i can be jaded too. It honesty just annoys me.

I liked this as well...i need to ask, why did you retain the original "9 ladies dancing" line?
Jonathan - December 21, 2016 - Report this comment
^ Agrimorfee - I interpreted it, as the divorced dude going to a strip club. if this was not it, well, then now you know how my mind works!
Chance - don't give it up just yet, you've got real talent here, friend! I've personally enjoyed a couple of your parodies! as for the haters, yeah, you kind of just have to deal with 'em. alot of 'em are just trolls, giving 1s for the sake of giving 1s anyway!
Chance Gollnick - December 21, 2016 - Report this comment
Yeah, the nine ladies dancing is him going to a strip club after all the crap happening to him. I appriciate people saying i have talent, i do work hard to make these good. Like my Crochet Back song i used Crochet terms, which was really hard to put into a song, i think some are just bitter i wrote funnier things, sometimes. Thanks for the support, i won't give up. I have had a bunch of spelling errors on this post so ignore them. I agree though, some people just vote to down vote. I would like to get into stand up comedy and making comedy songs as well. Writing standup as well as comedy songs are hard.

I'll do this regardless. Was that supposed to be hurtful? You also really should get a job. Because trolling on the internet is so weak. I know you or who ever keeps trolling. I hope you have a great holiday. Regardless of what you believe.

What right do you have to even talk like your someone? Your so brave, but you have to be unknown to trash someone. Literally, very few people truly vote to offer a honest opinion, they just vote to down vote. Comment if you have something worth hearing, if not crumple up your opinion, bend over and shove it.

I'd love to read your songs. In fact, i welcome it. Put your money where your mouth is. I'll do this regardless like i just said, so offer something positive to say or don't even bother voting because i'll just remove anything you say. I have over 50 parodys too, so learn how to count better. I've been doing this a while now.

I am only here to support other artists, and to do comedy. I am not and WILL NOT entertain arguing or fighting with people i don't know. Get a hobby because i don't have the time to be immature like you do.
