The Lyrics

So tonight for my 31 Days Of Horror I'm watching "Silence Of The Lambs" and it's one of my favorite horror movies so I decided to write a little tribute to one of the scariest characters in all of cinema: Hannibal Lecter!
I’m not an overweight dude
Please let me shake and bake you
Don’t want that Frosted Flakes food
Not in a chocolate cake mood

Feed me!
I poured myself Chianti
Hungry!
With fava beans as well
Starving!
The only other thing I need
Is your liver… That would be swell!

I want to eat you like a cannibal!
I want to much on both of your eyes!
You know me: My name is Hannibal!
Don’t keep your distance inlaws
You’re soon inside of my jaws!

Humans are my one temptation!
I like brains more than chicken wings
Need to have that bloodsucking taste
Forget your damn Burger King

Feed me!
I’ll chomp on Asians
Thirsty!
Your neck makes it quell
Empty!
Your guts I’ll dissect
You can’t find this at Taco Bell

I want to eat you like a cannibal!
I want your insides in my insides!
You know me: My name is Hannibal!
I’ll find your Buffalo Bill
Just get me someone to grill

[Anthony Hopkins whispers this part]

A psychiatrist
That needs to eat
Please fill my stomach

“Hello Clarice”

Boy, This tastes funny
I’ll choke it down
I know the reason
I’m eating clown…

Very good parody, particularly the last verse! I think I am in the minority, but Anthony Hopkins, who might be the finest actor of his generation, did not come across as all that scary in this role - not physically big enough. I think Robert De Niro or John Malkovich would have been scarier.

That's the thing. He's extremely powerful and dangerous while at the same time being a very small guy. Thanks though JJ.

Well done-555!!! I am doing my own independent Zombie series that has run for some time now. Every day I do 1-3 of them. Join-in if you like. AMC's series "The Walkong Dead" Season 2 opener is this Sunday at 9pm. Can't wait!!!

Yeah, that's easy one of my top ten favorite horror movies too, though the scariest one I'd ever seen is probably The Road with Viggo Mortensen from 2009. Have you seen that one?
Matthias - October 12, 2011 - Report this comment
Never seen it before Peter. Maybe I'll check it out for my 31 Days Of Horror marathon.

Good horror-iffic parody. Besides Hopkins, another fine interpretation of the Lecter role is by Brian Cox (who did the character first) in MANHUNTER.

Good job..and good use of the classic clown joke at the end

Gotta love the classic punchline at the end, and as someone who as also written a cannibal themed parody...I really appreciate the humor in this. The pacing wasn't spot on in some places, but still a good job. Nice work!

Place in the "Why didn't I think of that parody idea first?" Department. A little more movie-specific humor might have made this funnier, but still pretty darned good.

(Artistry) First off, awesome idea! Wow! However I do agree with Aggy that it would've been funnier for me personally if it was more rooted in the film, but for those who haven't seen this classic piece of horror cinema, being more general is best. Packed with a lot of great lines ("I want your insides in my insides" comes to mind first") this oozed hilarity. Some pacing snags through me off a little bit, but still creepily enjoyable!

555 servings for you.

(Artistry) Never seen the film, and the "you know me my name is Hannibal" line was missing a syllable, but this was still pretty frickin' good. Suitably gruesome without out being tasteless (hah!), 555!
