I was diagnosed with this disorder when I was four years old. It was probably in.error, as my behaviors were probably due to some underlying milder disability aggravated by some highly stressful circumstances. They later walked back this disgnosis .. Interesting fact: I'm so old, I was actually treated by Cletus Asperger himself

Theres probably just some kid just being a troll, it seems they are giving 1s to everybody. I pay it no mind Thats pretty awesome CML! honestly I havent heard about the disorder until recent years, but it explains so much about myself. I also don't claim to be a psychologist; I am sure there is more going on up there that I am willing to admit lol

Something I wish everyone knew: the pronunciation really ought to be "uh-sperg-er's" as that was how the name of the guy who discovered it was pronounced. The alternate way I hear so many people pronounce it sounds like a name for the world's absolute worst fast food restaurant ever.

I am the father of an aspie--for not being diagnosed Joseph, you hit some relevant points very nicely, and I appreciate the fact you were not offensive or mean about it. There are MANY authors on the spectrum at this site.

I may not have the diagnosis, but I do have many of the characteristics! It would explain alot about myself. I definitely respect people on the spectrum; they always have a unique point of view
