I... Burnt myself today
I was working on the grill
I dropped a fish fillet
and on my the grease did spill
the grease it burns a hole
the old familiar sting
try to bandage it away
but I remember everything

What have I just made
big macs and then
quarter pounders will
get eaten in the end

and you can have it all
meal fries and dessert
I won't let you down
I won't make it burnt

I mop up my grease spill
and get back to my work
making sandwiches
my hand throbbing it hurts
beneath the stains of grease
the floor it dissapears
you have quit your job
