"The Reason I Should Never Write Parodies While Dru"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This is probably what a parody would look like if I were drunk while writing it. I put in parenthesis the stages of my intoxication.
(Just drank a bottle of Razzmatazz, feeling alittle high)

I got so drunk, drunk...
I'll write a song now, wow!
I feel so high, high...
how can I write, write...

I start to write, while feeling so typsy
I know I'm drunk, it won't even stop me
I start to write, while feeling so typsy
I start to write, what will I phrase?!

(I'm still coherent, but the alcohol is effecting what I write)

My brain won't work, clerk...
my mind is fog, it is frog
I need worlds for my parody
I see no snails, sails...

I start to light, while feeling so typsy
I know I'm drunk, it won't ever stop me
I start to light, while feeling so typsy
I know I'm drunk, it won't ever stop me
I start to light, while feeling so typsy
I know I'm drunk, it won't ever stop me
I start to light, while feeling so typsy
I start to light, what will my phase?!

(Okay, now we're at the monologue; I'm pretty drunk at this point and I start writing things that definetly make no real sense)

I'm gonna make up myself some new parodies
I'm wanna take up myself all done parody
you'll really wish that you will
and get everyone good laughs

Next up I'll think of ideas that no one would want to try on trees
and I'll use anime thematic plot devicing about Ranma and
Ilpalazzo hooking up for love

Then I'll start talking in about pheromones flying for Ai, Koyori,
Elgala, Nanako, Miina and Karen as Mai and Mii argue about what
smurfs would taste like with apple curry rain for tents

What will parodies what are rated in Ai's bosom with which I saw
wonderful dreams that can make splendid cake bongs

I will snake on white chocolate macadamia cookies with drama
that I do know I will get and Akane will burn down all pantyhose
store homes

And then I'm gonna see what Excel had when lunch was on hold
with planetarium plans of Ai and Mai wake up Mii

Then I'll write all my parodies up with a righting of wrong sections for anime stories

Chi very loves Hideki

When did all these smurfs and Scrappy Doo come into my apartment tell me now

Dejiko and Puchiko just blew them up with their eyebeams
now they're biles of gore

(I'm drunk beyond meaning now, see the results below)

I'll stare to fly, will fleeing soap Typsing
I glow my trunk, it won't even top fleas
I'll spark a claw, wheeling it so flipsy
I go in drum, it has not pop these
I'll strange my song, will meetings go tipping
I'll show it stink, will it not do tease
I go to zone, making so tire me
I'll make a sing, hat while I pay?!

(Falls down and passes out......)
I listed so anime characters at random. Ai, Mai and Mii are from Popotan. Ranma and Akane are from Ranma 1/2. Excel, Elgala and Ilpalazzo are Excel Saga. Miina and Karen are from Please Twins and Nanako is from Amazing Nurse Nanako. I like receiving comments, so please tell me what you think.

It looks like the title to my parody didn't fit all the way. No big deal.

I see what you meant about Mrs. Butterworth being difficult to parody. I have zero idea of how this song goes, so I'll have to vote it later.

PS- WTF is Razzmatazz? Also, I take it this is off of Bleach as well. I guess that was a 1990 release?

Mrs. Butterworth is on the WTLO Nirvana Box Set, which I have at home. It isn't on Bleach, I wish I had a way to post the song for you, it was recorded on a boombox I think(sound quality is dim, but it was a cool idea he was toying with). Razzmatazz is a type of Raspberry Schnapps, it's very sweet and is one of my favorite drinks. The theme I used this time for this song was actually pretty easy to write, since a I was a bit more free to make it insane. Check out our thread(someone else accidently posted there too).

Oh, yeah. Grading my monologue based on Kurt's monologue is tricky at best, because he was making it up as he went along(alot of it doesn't fit the pacing of the music). I matched it based on the syllables however(When I sing the original I don't match up with him anyway).

Don't know the original...but a fantastic job of conveying the theme..You had to be sober to write that drunk!

Thank you. The idea was easy to use because I had more freedom to go anywhere with it. I did forget to mention Chi and Hideki in the afterword(they are from Chobits). I put anime characters in the monologue to help make it more inane and incoherent. I wasn't drunk when writing it(it probably wouldn't be as good that way), but I do drink on rare occasions, so I know enough what it's like to be drunk. When writing it I just thought what I would most likely write if I were(being sober helped me in that case, as I wouldn't think clearly when drunk). Being eccentric and quirky also help.

Thank you for this public service announcement. As an additional public service, I'm giving it a five, even though I DKTOS. And I've often wondered if Uncle Ben used Mrs. Butterworth to cheat on Aunt Jemima.

Awww, man...I thought the parodies I wrote sounded like I was on something. You really reached into the wacky barrel for this one... Dude, you're a genius. 555

The way I dolled it up when I submitted it is alittle different(chorus wise) than how I wrote it. I wrote bare parts(the verses, the first chorus and the monologue) on paper and modified it when I submitted it. The parts in parenthesis were also created when I submitted it. It took me around 50 minutes to type this one in, I was alittle worried that I might not make it within the time limit since I use the library's internet.

Hey, Step...You remember telling me that you had an original song partaining to Chobits, what you would've done if you found Chii was kidnapped? Well, could you point me to it?
Stephen aka Step-chan - June 02, 2005 - Report this comment
It isn't anything that I submitted here. I write both parodies and original songs, the song is called "Searching". It is an original song that I wrote in 2003, it is kind of simple as it doesn't use their names in the song, but it is about Hideki looking for Chi(I was reading that book around the time I came up with the idea). I do have a parody of an early Nirvana song called "Anorexorcist", the parody is called "Persocom Exorcist", I think I told about you about that one. I do also have another Chobits based original song called "Encased Shodown", which uses the "City with no people" theme as a reference, but like all my originals it isn't on this site. If you are registered on the Message Boards here, I could tell you more about them and post lyrics.

I DKTOS, and I only own Nevermind and In Utero, so you don't have many I can vote on... I thought this was funny, and w/o really thinking, I gave you 5's... But I'm sure that's what I would have given you if I knew the OS...
Stephen aka Step-chan - July 28, 2005 - Report this comment
Thank you, Dominic L. Not too long ago I started voting on songs without knowing the original songs, since others had been voting on mine without knowing the OS.
