The Lyrics

Of course, it's about writer's block. I thought about just leaving this page blank, but that would put me down in the pacing department wouldn't it? Well, here it is:
Dumb
Writer's block
Mind's a blur
An idea I need
Where's my head?
Apprehend
That I'll find no song theme
Take my time
Think of stuff
But it's a snore
Change the slate
Take a rest
To refresh
And think of a good theme, ah
A good theme, ah
A good theme, ah
More supreme, ah

Dumb
Write some fun
Out of reach
But I need parody
What to write?
Amiright
Has a load of all these, ah
Load of these, ah
Parodies, ah.
Mind empty, ah.

And I share
That I don't have a pun
No I don't have a pun
Oh I want a good pun

(Instrumental break)

Parody, ah
Is boring, ah
Mind empty, ah
Mind is free, ah (Don't have a pun)

And I share
That I don't have a pun
No I don't have a pun
Oh I want a good pun
No I don't have a pun
Oh I want a good pun

(Writer's block, ah)
(It's no fun, ah.)

pretty good

I can relate to this. Close to a 4 on pacing but I went 5 as there are incredibly few words that are perfect rhymes with "memoria". The syllable stresses you have are close enough.

555, good job on using the theme, I actually had this problem when doing the only parody I did to "Complicated"(I had sat there literally for 1-2 hours at a time without writing much of anything).

That's what I tell people --- when you're fresh out of ideas, write about being fresh out of ideas!

The challenge of doing Nirvana parodies is that the minimalism of Cobain's lyrics calls for the hilarity of monotony. This one worked along those lines.

Superior to the OS. 5s

Great parody and one I can relate with at the moment. Hell, I'd be happy if I could even come up with something really horrible at this point. But anyway, once again, great job Dominic. 5's.

OK, who gave me a 3 on the pacing? I can understand 3 on overall, but... come on!

Check this out, one of my parodies(to a rare recording Nirvana did and to something that isn't that popular) got more than 5 votes!
