The Lyrics

Smells Like Cobain

Load up on drugs
your gonna need it
It's fun to pretend
that you know this song
Oh no, I don't know a damn word

Hello, hello, hello, do you know?
Hello, hello, hello, do you know?
Hello, hello, hello, do you know?
Hello, hello, hello, are you there?

With the volume up its very dangerous
Here we are now explain the song to us
I feel stupid cause I wrote this
Here we are now please explain it
A mulatto? An albino?
A mosquito? My libido?
What?

I do not have no clue what
I'm saying don't know a word
Our little group tries to explain
And always will but still never know

Hello, hello, hello, do you know?
Hello, hello, hello, do you know?
Hello, hello, hello, do you know?
Hello, hello, hello, a word

With the volume up its more dangerous
here we are now just explain it
We are louder than Metallica
See ya later fuck your parents
An Algerian an hour
A crocodile my menopause
sure

And I forget just why I sing
Oh yeah I guess it makes me money
I found it hard it's hard to use
because I'm actually rather dead
-
do you know, do you know a word?
do you know, do you know a word?
do you know, do you know, a word?
do you know, do you know

With the volume up it's really loud
Here we are now fuckin explain it
I feel confused like Confucius
Here we are now fuckin explain it
A grotto a cannoli
A jalapeƱo my ravioli

Pacing is very wayward, a lot of the OS is present and I cannot understand the last part whatsoever. The only thing that saved this from a triple-1 vote was the first verse was just about passable.

It was crap.

Sorry, but Weird Al did it better.

I bet the clown who voted 5s on this dirge is the same clown who votes on the good parodies, especially quality ones by authors such as Red Ant, Michael Pacholek, Paul Robertson or myself.
Red Ant - October 23, 2006 - Report this comment
This could have been great, but the pacing is so far off it kills any chance of a good score. Jason, were you referring to Paul Robinson or Kristof Robertson (doesn't matter, they are both excellent authors).
Jason - October 23, 2006 - Report this comment
Red Ant, I was referring to Paul Robertson, but forgot to include Kristof Robertson. Apologies for this ommission. Yes I know Kristof writes great stuff as well.

Cut me some slack this was the first one I ever made.
