Here's a version of the song my boyfriend and I used to perform at open mic nights. We wrote it to take the micky out of the way all songs by Oasis sound the same.
Total Fool
Today is gonna be the day that I'm gonna write a different tune.
By now I should of somehow realised what I've got to do.
But I don't believe that anybody thinks we can write something new,
Because we're Oasis.
Back beat, the word is on the street a new single we've released is out.
You're sure you've heard this song before, yeah of that you never had a doubt.
So we must confess to everybody we used the same chords again,
Because we're Oasis.
Our career path is no-way long and winding,
'Cos the songs we write are talentless and whining,
There are many songs that I would like to play to you,
But I don't know how.
I said maybe, the songs I write will never save me,
'Cos after all, I'm a total fool.
