The Lyrics

Here's the latest parody I thought of. It has pretty much the same theme as the original song, it is a love song. I hope you all like it!
I went out with my girl
Saw she wasn't the right one
We broke when we realized
That this this was not to be

She had opened her eyes
Found I wasn't the right guy
Wanted someone that was fly
That I could not be inside

A whole new girl
I need someone who really cares
I'll be in love with her, and show her there
The place I'm really dreaming

A whole new girl
A dazzling face I never knew
She sees that way up here, I'm so sincere
And now I'm in a whole new world with her

Unbelievable times, indescribeable feeling
She can sense what I'm seeing
Looking in my heart all times!

A whole new girl (I just can't close my eyes!)
A sweetie she can can really be (Hold your breath, it gets better!)
I can see in her heart, right from the start
That we are just two lovebirds just meant to be!

A whole new girl
With new adventures to pursue
We can go anywhere, vacation there
Let me share this whole new life with you!

A whole new girl (A whole new girl)
A new fantastic life we share
We will get married soon, I hope in June
And maybe raise a family

A whole new girl (She will stay in my life)
With new adventures here to pursue (Every moment she's here)
We can be happy now, A true love vow
Happy now, a true love vow
Let me share this whole new world with you

A whole new girl (A whole new girl)
She'll really be (Yes we will be)
A thrilling change (A wondrous place)
For her and me!
Again as I've said in previous songs I've written recently, I really like getting comments. Most of my songs have gotten some comments, but I would like to hear more of them! If you like this song and haven't yet seen my other parodies, please click on this link and read my other parodies! Please also comment on those as well, I hope to write even more parodies soon! (This is the ninth one I've written on amiright.com.)

Okay you wanted comments. So here's some advice from one of the guys at the other end of the list. You have a flair for pacing and some good ideas. But you need to work on the "funny" part and making it flow from A to B to C. The best works here build. I often get the "punch line" first, then figure out how to get there. Look at Johnnie D, Guy Dirito and Claude Prez. (Among others) I know they work on organizing verses so that the songs go somewhere. Keep writing, it will improve. Sometimes if you look at one of ours and think it sucks, you'll find it was an early effort. I know I got a lot better by seeing what some of these top dogs did, then trying to write some as good. But I do think someone has been a little unfair in their votes for you. MORE FUNNY!

David, DKTOS, took a look to be sure anyway. Just to second Rick's remark on "building" take a look at Claude Prez's "Let Aunt Bee" and see the progression there. I can't get it out of my head now! It hits the "Bitch made me a cobbler" line and from that point on you just can't read it fast enough. Now that type of line may or may not be your style but it certainly moves the song forward and reader can feel it whether they write or not.

I actually heard a parody of "A Whole New World" before but it was made very perverted. Kinda want to find it again but no luck.

Emanuel Mak - here is a link to the perverted parody you might be talking about on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDGoqXhBWTA Maybe this is what you were talking about - it is funny but definitely vulgar, explicit, and sick to those offended by the subject of sex!
