Osama's gone, Bush's plans came undone
But Mr Pres. really wanted someone to pay - things looked grey.
Then he remembered that Iraq was loaded
And a few buildings were still unexploded from when dad - last got mad
And he thought

"I wanna get Iraqi oil
And there ain't no one that's gonna foil my plan
Though it might take a little toil
Whilst we're there, we can also nobble Saddam
And hope no one gives a damn
Maybe we'll even sort Iran."

So Bush spoke to Tony Blair,
And he found assistance there
He tried to give them all the spooks
By telling them Saddam had nukes
Still they wouldn't - pass - the resolution
But 'Dubya' wanted retribution

Saddam get out in 48 hours
You wanna laugh about our Twin Towers, then you
Will have to face the superpowers
And now your time as a badass leader is through
'Cause we got nothing else to do
(And we want your oil too).

Saddam Hussein wouldn't leave the country
And so again Bush drops some bombs on Baghdad - ain't it sad.
In the beginning it was quite exciting
Until we see that we're actually fighting a war - and just who's it against, and just what is it for?

We will never understand
What it's like to be the Pres.
Big red buttons and controls
Trashing countries, blowing holes
And if the pretzel thing was bad,
He's the only man who looks older than his own dad

Like an irritated bowel
Get the nation in a fit
Through talking government-branded shit
Is it honestly alright
That in Baghdad late at night
There's people - staring - at the wall
Wondering where bombs are gonna fall?

So what about the common people?
They got no weapons, they ain't got no defence
And just how many more innocent people
Will have to die before Bush sees some common sense?
Or maybe try a different stance
Just for a change, give peace a chance.
