The Lyrics

Here we are now with another bald-headed bada** from Breaking Bad. I think this song may also double as an eventual Jonathan Banks tribute song (late seventies at time of posting). However, there might be another Mike song from the In Saul series.
(Mike Ehrmantraut)
Senior who, handles se-cur-ity
My workloads more than freelance
With Gus, Walt, and Saul
Wiiiiiretap, home office or your car
Nine guys, paid in prison
Make sure, the cooks keep it up
I’ll find, that inner peace
Being with, my granddaughter Kaylee

With no gunshots and no stranglings
No gunshots and no stranglings
No gunshots and no stranglings
Retire
Retire

Don’t need the half measure
Back then, as a good cop with

No gunshots and no stranglings
No gunshots and no stranglings
No gunshots and no stranglings, please

There’s a quiet scene
Just let me, die here in peace*

No gunshots and no stranglings (who can I threaten)+
No gunshots and no stranglings (who can I threaten)
No gunshots and no stranglings, please (who can I threaten)
* Alternate line = A lake with orange sunset. When I looked at Mike's last episode in Breaking Bad, I had thought that Walt shot him at sunset, but the glare of the sun on the lake was not quite orange enough. It would have fit better visually for me. + = Didn't think I was going to overlook the second vocal outro to this song. Mike won't threaten anyone who is related to him, except Gus but maybe he hid it well.
