The Lyrics

This song was made when I was being stupid one night and needed to find something funny to sing at karaoke. I came up with it in about two minutes.
She's into cappachino's
latte's and plain flat whites,
she's got a caffeine addiction,
she's going to be awake all night.
She's got a perculator,
that she takes to work herself
she loves her columbian,
but she's imaprtial to lots of blends.

She never uses water,
she just uses coffee grains,
always at the doctors because of intense stomach pains,
yeah they make her go insain, cmon.

She needs another hit,
cos she's livin la vida mocha,
she's feeling very sick,
cos she's livin la vida mocha.
her poo feels just like bricks,
and her blood is filled up with mocha,
she needs another hit,
cos she's livin la vida mocha,
livin la vida mocha,
livin la vida mocha.

Woke up in Brisbane city,
to a funky apartment site,
she has no life but she has her coffee,
things still seem to be all right.

She's always at the coffee shops
you'd better run away,
she once beat up a clerk,
who offered her nice earl grey,
yes she really is insane.

She never uses water,
she just uses coffee grains,
always at the doctors because of intense stomach pains,
yeah they make her go insain, cmon.

She needs another hit,
cos she's livin la vida mocha,
she's feeling very sick,
cos she's livin la vida mocha.
her poo feels just like bricks,
and her blood is filled up with mocha,
she needs another hit,
cos she's livin la vida mocha,
livin la vida mocha,
livin la vida mocha.

java, java, java, java, java, java whoooh.

Geez she needs another cuppa baby geez she needs another cuppa baby, she needs another cuppa right now.

Aaron, this was pretty good, some nice lines. Pacing was a bit off in places. Keep writing..if you did this in two minutes, I'd like to see one that you spent some time on. 445

Ditto Kristof's comment. FYI, Issue 3529 of The Onion (18 August 1999) has a story headlined "'Weird Al' Yankovic Nears Completion Of 'Livin' La Vida Mocha.'" As with pretty much everything in The Onion, it's dead-on satire. It makes fun of Al (and therefore the rest of us misfit parodists). I'd link to the actual story, but it's now in their "archive" - and they want actual MONEY to get to it.

I can't believe it has the same title. I hope no-one thinks I have ripped this idea off!!!!!

Aaron - sorry for the delayed response. No - of course not - no plagiarism accusations. Just thought you'd be interested. The Onion is good company to be in.
