This is a parody that I wrote back during my senior year in high school (circa 1999) back when I had a crush on David Duchovny. I also thank God for Bree Sharp for writing this awesome tribute about him as well. However, I made few changes to the lyrics from how I wrote it a while back and decided to do a mash-up of Bree Sharp's lovely tribute but of course I added words of my own so it doesn't look like I'm plagiarizing. This is my first attempt at a mashup parody. It was also one of my choices for the Ricky Martin Artistry contest at first. Although I already entered "Drink Capri Sun" to the contest, I figured that since I was working on this parody in advance, I might as well just submit this as well...as a non-contest parody. NOTE: In that last stanza, fat chance of that happening...just wishful thinking! LOL!!
