Parody Song Title:

"Plastic Fake Girl"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Notes: "An 'irrisistable creature' (!) with an insatiable 'love' for the dead." She might love the dead, but she isn't alive, either - oh, and she is dead to sense, and alive to fashion. While I haven't met any 'simulacrums' of this stripe before, I've seen my share of men and women who seem bent upon imitating the being described below. Note: Comments in (parentheses) are to be whispered at the same time as the regular lines are sung.
Plastic fake girl

The rage of the age,
Flounces upon the stage,
There's one certain way,
To bend the public's mind. (1)
Distort the dreams
Caterwauling screams,
High-pitched hisses
While the fabric gleams. (2)

Drool on me,
Leak on me,
Slide for me,
Plastic Fake Girl.

All can see,
A twisted tree,
Behind the knee,
Plastic Fake girl.

Peroxided freak
Spray-painted physique,
A plastic body, loom'd
wires long-hid in gloom. (3)
Operation: stealth,
They love to love the wealth,
they put her together,
While riveting pounds. (4)

Pound on me, (Bringing up baby, piece by piece...)
Screech for me, (At least try to activate that motor.)
Smoke for me, (Oh, no, an electrical fire.)
Plastic Fake Girl

We can't see,
Behind your glee,
You're too Busy,
Plastic Fake Girl.

Mainframe hack, (5)
Worm-screw'd stack, (6)
Sensorial needs
Eat dollar bills.
Five-axis machine (7)
Creates another fiend,
So tangible,
A duplicated thrill!

Spit on me, (Such longing! So beautiful!)
Split for me, (You cannot have her)
Cry for me, (She cares not for you.)
Plastic Fake Girl. (She's plastic fake girl)

Whirl while free,
Electronic Glee,
They'll capture thee,
Plastic Fake girl.

Obsessively thin, (Diet? She does not eat!)
Motor-driven spin, (Faint whirring noises...)
Do that again,
Plastic Fake Girl.

A corporate chin, (Profits!!!)
An alien grin, (Mystery! More Profits!)
A simulacrum's sin, (8)
Plastic Fake girl.
1)Fashion Show. 2) the sounds of clothing being made. 3)The outer portion of the 'manequin's' body, complete with covering and exposed wires. The clothing covers all of this. 4) The inner metallic framework is assembled using rivets, among other things. It's done in a secret and expensive facility. 5) The processors used to animate the symulacrum. 6) A pun on two issues: rotary to linear motion using a wormscrew, and the processor(s) hardware stacks. Software and hardware interaction needs extensive debugging. 7) Big, expensive, precise, and aerospace tollerances. Just the thing for classy simulacrums. 8) Simulacrum: high-class android/ replicant/ the *ultimate* fashion model.

Sir, this certainly describes our current pop-girl entertainment scene!

Frank Zappa warned us about Plastic People in 1966
