Bunny Came Home

Bunny came home to her wire cage.
Bunny sat down on her papers.
She opened her door with her
Two front teeth.
Bunny's pellets looked like capers.

She said "Easter's here
Bring me a beer
A chocolate covered egg.
I am getting an infection on my leg.
Cause of the wire."

Bunny came home with a sheet of names.
To make sure she didn't forget us.
"It's time for a few small nibbles," she said.
Bunny came home for some lettuce.

She said "Swat those flies,
My big pink eyes
Are burning like a fire.
My fluffy tail is stuck inside a jail.
That's made of wire."

White, white fur just like a sweater
Habitrails are much, much better.
Bunny-Lady's really scary.
Whack her head, it's too darn hairy.

She said "Carrot sticks
Make me do tricks.
And I say "What's Up, Doc?'
This cage is driving me to
Break the lock inside this wire.
