A UK tv show featured a polemic against "feminisation" I missed it .. on vacation but it aroused a lot of negative feedback.. the speaker then retracted and said that he wasn't saying that women should be barefoot pregnant in the kitchen .. but there are some who do and this song is for them.."Men and Motors" is a macho TV show in the UKSh*gged is a synomyn for f*cked in Brit argot Nagging is Brit argot for what a complaining spouse does Shod means furnished with shoes The Guardian is a left wing newspaper The guys mentioned are well known right wing newspaper columnists

Michael Buerk (he who did the news report that led to Live Aid) did a programme on similar matters called 'Don't Get Me Started!', that stirred up a lot of trouble too.

Having recently heard both Dame Shirley Bassey and MarthaDTox perform live, I find this song to be an entertaining combination of their talents. I particularly like the "smashed/thrashed/trased" and "boss/loss/toss" verses.
