Parody Song Title:

"Searching For Metal Monsters"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This parody goes to both "Wet My Bed" and "Crackerman". It is based off of the "Dragon Warrior" series and is about fighting metal monsters. Anyone who has played this game knows that Metal Slimes and Metal Babbles tend to run away more often than staying and fighting. They are worth lots of experience.
(Monologue)

Hey everybody, where did Karen go?
where did Karen go?
and where's her Magic Bikini?
please look for it, I don't want to
I'll just go out for a while
get in fights, kick some butt
I'm beating them all for her, you see
Spiked Hares, Wyverns and lots of Metal Babbles now dead
and where's my Dragon Whip?
is it in the tavern, the gift shop?
she shops there sometimes
Karen likes it, you know
buying lots of things, so cool
Karen just, Karen just, Karen just
Karen, Karen just went nyu...

Uh huh, alright, let's go!

(The song begins)

Lookin', what I'm trying to find
I want to fight metal monsters
Metal Slime... Metal Slime
come in time, come in time
we'll fight for sure

Metal Metal Slime
come today, please don't run away
really need to level up
that I see, yeah and that I need
Metal Metal Slime
come today, please don't run away
really need to level up

Babbles that are silver
they're so hard to kill, it's true
time to cast... time to cast
Bedragon, Bedragon
it's the spell to use

Metal Metal Slime
come today, please don't run away
really need to level up
that I see, yeah and that I need
Metal Metal Slime
come today, please don't run away
really need to level up

What I'm needin'
experience
what I'm needin'
is some trainin'

Metal Metal Slime
come today, please don't run away
really need to level up
that I see, yeah and that I need
Metal Metal Slime
come today, please don't run away
really need to level up

What I'm needin'
experience
what I'm needin'
is some trainin'

"Karen" is from "Please Twins!" and was added as an afterthought more than a reference(she has a habit of passing out when she is shocked or excited and says "nyu" when she does).

This parody combines three of my favorite things: Stone Temple Pilots, Dragon Warrior, and Onegai Twins! Rock on!

Excellent Step-chan. Great idea for combining these 2 as one. And I believe these are both first submissions of these songs as well. 5s.

Thanks for the votes and comments! When I was first toying with the parody it was just to Crackerman(which is one of my favorite STP songs). After awhile I felt that the song wasn't enough on it's own and decided to add Wet My Bed to it. Onegai Twins! has infected my train of thought lately and I added Karen's name to that monologue, which was a random thing really(I just finished watching the whole anime last week). When I was listening to Crackerman, Metal Slimes came to mind(when I am fighting both them and Metal Babbles, I pray that they don't run. That's where I got the idea from). Olvan The Terrible, I didn't know you liked Onegai Twins! I have three parodies about them in mind(which I'll list shortly) as well as a couple of others with them in a medley form. Red Ant, I have a question to ask you which I'll post on our thread.

I see that this parody got a 4th vote, 111, I wish more 111 voters would leave comments(in a tasteful manner so they don't get deleted by a moderater, I didn't get to see the comment on Sappy, but got informed about it). Thanks for the vote, but I'm dissapointed that you didn't leave a comment.
