The Lyrics

Pre-clarification: Time+Vacation= Timecation. A family takes a little vacation, through TIME!
Verse 1: Summertime is here, that’s no mystery
Get to go on trips all through history
I’ve driven the time machine and I’ve filled it with gas
And now my fu-ture’s in the past
Let’s blast off! (mmm…)
Let’s blast off! (mmm…)
Some people travel to the typical place
Livin’ all their lives at a turtle’s pace
It ain’t a question of “Where?”
Just a matter of time
Before we jump right through our own timeline

Hook: Once you’re zooming quickly through time and space
You gotta believe that we’ll enjoy these days

Chorus: We blast off!
Ignore the costs
Even if we witness Japan’s loss
Since time is the only destination
Gonna blast off, on a Timecation

Verse 2: If the Civil War was as bad as they say
Then we’ll go back in time to abolish slaver-ay
And I’ll do it all again, when I get it done
I’ll stop the murder of Abe Lincoln
No method to the madness
And no need for response
Gonna hit every age
Plus maybe The Renaissance
It ain’t a question of “Where?”
Just a matter of when
We went to Cuba during the Bay of Pigs

Hook: I’m flying through time
Cashing my travel checks
Broke down in the Cretaceous and look there’s a T-Rex!

Chorus: Let’s blast off!
Before we’re caught
Now I’m thinkin’ this was a dumb thought
Since time is the only destination
Better blast off!
On a Timecation

Uh huh…

Bridge: If I could make you stop and take a look at time
Instead of just passing by
There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do
If it was getting you to realize, use your time
All I need’s a half a sec
A tiny chance, a second speck to prove
I’ve got a hard path to climb
But I got all the time

Chorus: So blast off!
Before we’re lost
Even if we hit the Ice Age frost
If time is the only destination
Time to blast off! Blast off! Yeah!
Blast off! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Blast off! (mmm…)
Since time is the only destination
Gonna blast off! On a Timecation

Is this the song from A Goofy Movie? I didn't realize who actually did the original song. I though this name was Powerdrive or something silly like that though? Awesome parody with an awesome idea though! Kinda like Doc and Marty on their road trip.

Yeah it is from A Goofy Movie!!! I love that movie and this OS. The character in the movie was named Powerline, and he was voiced by Tevin Cambell.

So this is how Timecop spends his vacations? Great parody.

I should vote you first place just for bringing me back to the Goofy Movie...pretty funny idea that went well with the OS.

(Ages) I agree with Mark Scotti...a great idea for a movie or government project. Yeah, gotta love Timecation timetravel. Good name for it, too. This is the first time I heard the OS and I like it. Wow, I wish to travel back in time as well. I would like to travel to either Prehistoric, or the 1880's, in the Colonial times, the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Well if I were to travel through time, I would love to either go back to the 80s or 90s. That would be my Timecation. Here's 555 pounds of Plutonium to start off for your timecation.

(Ages) Very creative idea, and very well executed. Doc Brown would be proud. 555!

(AofA) Creating a new word that no one had ever heard before and making that te title of your song was pretty risky, but you pulled it off with flying colors. Did you think of this song for travel because we used to watch it in the car when we drove to Cleveland? That's what it rminded me of. Very funny! 555!
