The Lyrics

I hope you guys like my parodies, because I plan on doing a lot more of them.
I walked in the yard and what do I see
A dog took a number two, he didn't just pee
I walked over to pick the stuff up, but then oops I just tripped
I looked down and then you know what I flipped
I've been through a lot but this got me lit
I wasn't prepared to fall face first in shit

I fell in shit
I fell in shit
I was cursing, and hurling, and throwing a fit
I fell in shit, I fell in shit

I guess I haven't been the same since I took that little fall
It didn't help at that moment my girlfriend called
The more I think about it, the atheists are right
If god is really there he just wants to start fights
My mother walked in, I had shit over my face
She asked what was wrong I said "Get off my case"

I fell in shit
I fell in shit
I was cursing, and hurling, and throwing a fit
I fell in shit, I fell in shit

It's like making a sand castle, and then it is all washed away
Or raking the yard on a summer day
Some call it bad luck, but I call it gay

You wipe it off but you still feel it there
You wipe it from your chin, you wipe it from your hair
Wash your hands in the sink, you get all of it down
Got your hands on the towel, and you are wearing a frown
You wont forget the moment, you wont for get the day
I'd like to put it behind me, of it no more I'll say

I fell in shit
I fell in shit
I was cursing, and hurling, and throwing a fit
I fell in shit, I fell in shit

I fell in shit
I fell in shit
I was cursing, and hurling, and throwing a fit
I fell in shit, I fell in shit

That was hilarious! ...until I came to "Some call it bad luck, but I call it gay". I find that offensive. Plenty of gays, like moi, would be insulted by that. How can it be gay in the first place? And as if being gay were the worst thing in the world! Avoid little things like that next time! Other than that, I think this was a hoot!

Yeah, about the gay comment, I don't have anything against gays. I actually support them, I just needed a lyrics and in my school, anything that is bad is usually referred to as gay. Sorry about that though.

Good stuff, White... I think they should make an official alternate definition for "gay" meaning "lame," because it's obvious that people often use this word for that. It's not about homophobia, it's just a slang term. It's like how Brits say "fag," when they are referring to a cigarrette. That being said, this was a very funny parody...

I also just realized that it would be redundant to rake the yard on a summer day, since leaves fall in the autumn...

I do know that "fag" is Briitish slang for a cigarette (a "faggot" being a bunch of cigarettes) and that fags were the bundles of wood used to burn victims of the Inquisition, especially when it came to male homosexuals, so I do see that context. Still, prejudiced against gays or not, saying "that's so gay" does have roots of prejudice, and it really displays a lack of intelligence.

Not a bad start, WW89. I like reading newbies who shoot out something good right from the start. I don't know the original song (usually referred to as 'DKTOS', BTW), but it read well. Keep 'em coming. (see veteran Paul Robinson's recent "I Fell On A Turd" for a similar story) 544
