Tarzan’s mother Kala is staring down out of her nest
Wishing that her ape son would be treated as such
Whenever he is in a jam she always will stick up for him,
But Kerchak doesn’t realize he hurts him so much
Cause all Tarzan’s attempts just ain’t working at all,
‘Cause he can’t seem to keep him-self out of trouble
Cause he goes out and he tries to be an ape the best way he knows how,
An awkward kid who is just trying to fit in
