These are short parody lyrics set to the lyrics of songs by Gordon Lightfoot.
Gordon Lightfoot
Storm clouds, you better take care
If I find you've raining over my lawn chairs
Sundown, you better take care
If I find you've been creepin' 'round my back stairs

The terror began in September of oh-one
When an Atta attacked the Trade Center.
Kamikazes, we knew, by the time it was all through,
And that day we'd ID'd their sick mentor.
America has grieved, so spectacularly bereaved
But determined we are, not downtrodden.
We must fight the Taliban and that horrible man,
The despicable Osama bin Laden
He's a man of ill fame,
who gives Islam a bad name,
Obsessed with his mission of mayhem.
His unspeakable deeds call forth America's need
Efficiently quite back to pay him.
We simply mustn't stop till we've sneaked over the top,
Searched the caves and the sewers and GOT HIM!
This isn't a rant, we gotta get what we want,
Just deserts for Osama bin Laden!
The legend lives on, from the Chippewa on down,
Of the great lake they call Gitchee Gumee.
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
When the skies of November turn gloomy.
With a load of iron ore twenty-six thousand tons more
Than the Edmund Fitzgerald weighed empty
That good ship and true was a bone to be chewed
When the gales of November came early.
The ship was the pride of the American side
Coming back from some mill in Wisconsin.
As the big freighters go it was bigger than most
With a crew and good captain well seasoned
Concluding some terms with a couple of steel firms
When it left fully loaded for Cleveland.
And later that night when the ship's bell rang,
Could it be the North wind they'd been feelin'?
