The Lyrics

I'm posting this anonymously in the Monkey House even though (insofar as I can tell at the moment) my son isn't homosexual... not that I'd really give a monkeys if he were. But to save him possible future embarrassment, I'm not going to say who wrote this.
My son'll come out, tomorrow
Right out of the closet
Then tomorrow they'll make fun

He'll mince and he'll pout tomorrow
Limp-wristedly lifting shirts tomorrow
No, he's no nun

When he says that at home, we're hom-ophobic
He will kick up a stink.. in pink.. I'll say

Oh, my son'll come out, tomorrow
All the world will find it out tomorrow
That he's gay
Tomorrow, tomorrow, they'll find out tomorrow
See my street cred ebb away

My son'll come out, tomorrow
Bet your "bottom dollar"
That tomorrow, out he'll come

Just thinking about tomorrow
Causing all that heartache, stress and sorrow
To his mum

When I wish that he'd be comple-tely normal
He'll be sullen and camp-ly stamp, I'll say

Oh..my son'll come out, tomorrow
So the world will all find out tomorrow
That he's ga.a.a.a.a.y

Tomorrow, tomorrow,
He'll come out tomorrow
Why did he turn out
That
Waaaaay?

Sad, sad, sad. Now can you write one from his point of view? Like, Mom and Dad's sex life is stranger than fiction, they keep their brains in the closet, their hearts in the toilet, when oh when will they come out, until they do I must be so ashamed of them. Kinda. Like that. ????

If this was meant to be biting satire...it doesn't quite cut it. You said in your preamble that you're OK with homosexuality, and I kinda get what you were trying to do (writing from the POV of narrow minded parent) but, sorry...it didn't do anything for me. 533

There is also this parody by Super Girlies: Your son will come out tommrow, bet your bottom dollar that tommrow, he'll be one, so he starts working out tommrow, disapears for days on end to Soho, yes he's one. And then one day, he'll say quite proudly, my partner is Tim not Kim, I'm gay! Your son will come out tommrow, bet your bottom dollar that tommrow, he is gay, tommrow, tommrow, he'll tell you tommrow, your son will tell you he's gay. (spoken) Your son will come out tommrow, bet your bottom dollar that tommrow, he'll be one, so he starts working out tommrow, disapears for days on end in Soho, (snigger) yes he's one. And then one day, he'll play with makeup, pop on a dress, confess, I'm gay ooooh. Your son will come out tommrow, bet your bottom dollar that tommrow, he is gay.... Tommrow, tommrow, your high heels he'll borrow and then there's no doubt he's gay. Tommrow, tommrow, your makeup he'll borrow and then there's no doubt he's gay!
