Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

It's springtime
And I'm using a squegee
Dirty windows
Are saying bye bye
It's springtime
And I'm down on my kneesies
To brush all these cobwebs out
And let it air-dry

In the morning
I'm dusting the attic
In the evening
I'm scraping the walls
In the basement's
A pile of garbage
And there's a sack of towels
All rolled up in balls

It's springtime
And the cleaning ain't easy
My arm's aching
And my mouth is bone dry
It's springtime
And I'm sneezing like crazy
The dust and hay fever
Are making me cry

Why should I clean?
It only gets dirty
My day's gone
And my back is so sore
What a waste!
And the work it just hurts me
But I must keep cleaning
Though I don't know why

It's springtime
And I'm starting to worry
Cause my budget
Is getting too high
It's springtime
And this project might break me
The repairs are almost costing as much
As the cleaning supplies

Alvin, thanks!

Sam E, If you read up on me, you would also know that I have moved to another state this past month. The context of my statement that I am a professional singer is that I am professional enough to prevent me from entering an amateur singing competition. I have been paid for singing a number of times. I don't sing as my main source of income and currently am not singing professionally. I was a clarinet and voice major in college, but dropped out. My main job is database administration and video editing.
