The Lyrics

AFW and I share a common ailment...we love to do songs in the style of Elmer Fudd! My role model Won even recorded an album called "Fudd In The Countwy". So here is my holiday song while I'm still sober. Easy? Definitewy! Seasonal? Appwopwiate! Funny? Hiwawious! ;D
My Wild Iwish Wose
The deawest fwower that gwows
You can seach evewywhere but none can compawe
To My Wild Iwish Wose.
My Wild Iwish Wose
The sweetest fwower that gwows
And some day foh my sake she may wet me take
The bwoom fwom my Wild Iwish Wose.

(Narration over the music)
I am Iwish. My pawents were owiginawy fwom Dubwin. My dad's weal name was Wiam Patwick O'Weiwy, and my mom was Mauween Wose Waffety. They immigwated to Amewica and changed the Iwish names at Ewwis Iwand to avoid pwejudice.

(Different song)
When Iwish Eyes Awe Smiwing
Ah, 'tis wike a mohn in spwing.
In the wilt of Iwish waughtah
You can heah the wabbits sing
When Iwish eyes awe happy
Aw the wowd is bwight and gay
And When Iwish Eyes Awe Smiwing
It must be Saint Patwick's Day!

Do what I do on St. Patrick's Day! Go to The Emerald Arches and order a "Big Mick" or some "Chicken O'Nuggets"! ;D

I'm sure this will be what I hear later today; good to see the Irish on AIR today.

Great job, and most excellent job spoofing the St. Paddy's Day standards in the style of Mr. Fudd. 5s, and I'm most definitely going to go to the Irish pub down the street from me to take part in the celebration tonight. I did have to put on my only green shirt so I don't get pinched, but it's a John Deere shirt and clashes with my hair color.

AFW: Where can I get that album, and was it recorded under Airfarcewon or another name?

Elmer Fudd must really be german because that sounds like the peculiar way Germans have of pronouncing the letter R. He's part Irish anyway.

Having set lofty standards for yourself, OMR, this isn't them. Nothing was changed from TOS except to turn Rs to Ws. Guess all 65,000 pawodies -- uh, parodies -- here could get the same treatment, and then we'd have 130,000.

Nothing funny here at all except the outro, which rescues one point. 521, and that doesn't change a thing said in your trib -- you're still one of the greatest. (Unfair: TT holds top-notch writers to higher standards than noobs. Consider it a compliment to be held to such standard.) Concept was good. Parodying TOSs and *then* doing the Fudd thing could have come out funny. (Except that while I don't generally agree with Political Correctness, I think that deliberately mocking someone's *involuntary* speech impediment (as opposed to voluntarily getting plastered) is rude.

To Andriad: I forgot when I mentioned that...I'm afraid you have the wrong impression...It wasn't a com'l recording..just some crazy home made thing I did on a cassette several years ago...Don't know where it is, anymore...

I figured that it was a homemade dealio after an exhaustive google search for any recordings by Airfarcewon (there was a comedy group called Air Farce, though). It was probably great and pretty funny, though.

Mr. Ribber, I attempted to sing your song after approximately 5 pots of green tea. My acquaintances thought I was quite daft. This was quite a humorous rendition.
