From film review comparisons to classic memes
There's lots of movies out there that I haven't seen
Where fixin' won't happen, you might think I should
And so you fill my days with "Rocky is good"
Swear I'm not tryna mock you, know that you mean well
But sometimes you go too hard and it becomes my own hell

Don't wanna spoil the awesome parts, I'm okay with that
But without all those scenes, all your pleas fall flat
Oh, constant recommendations just keep me away
Will it live up to the hype? Doubt that, no way
I've been through all that shite, really hurts to say
"It's fine" when you've hoped it would rework my brain

I'm sure the story of a massive boxin' man
Is really good, 'though I've heard movie 5 is crap
Riffed and ref'renced so often that I'd mouth
Along with half the lines, know how the plot goes down
Maybe someday I'll give the films a try
And say "Rocky IS good", just might
