I remember seeing ads for some sort of hemp flavored drink years ago. Never tried it. Fighting a war against drug users has proven to be a waste of money and has encouraged all sorts of police misconduct. On the other hand, except for some vague medical benefits for a relatively few patients, I can't see that cannibas consumption is any sort of positive good for society. My solution, the libertarian one, would be to allow anyone to become an addict, as long as he could pay for his own drugs through his own effort. If no one will hire him, then, my answer would be the same as Ebenezer Scrooge gave to the fellows soliciting for the poor relief at the beginning of "A Christmas Carol".

Hey Patrick, in my life I have known a couple hundred people who smoked pot since the 1970s and only ONE of them ever needed it for true medicinal purposes. He is dying of AD. If one is poor the combo seems to be weed and alcohol. If well off then weed and narcotics. If rich, weed, Oxy, heroin and cocaine! Patrick, weed is plentiful in California, even in churches! It makes me sick that California leads in Ultra-Liberalism...
