The Lyrics

I remember there was a time
When all the girls approached and drove me crazy
All the make-up and grease in their hair
These days those girls' leve me hazy

I miss their fire
Today they've no desire

I wish a lady of the eighties
I wish a lady of the eighties

All those women around the world
Listen know what? I can not stray from you
Why do you run a mile
Want someone ta be mine
Don't be afraid to be mine

Someone with fire
Some way any desire?

I wish a lady of the eighties
I wish a lady of the eighties

Today I search on internet
But I'm only touching myself
I wish a lady of the eighties

Please come to me

(solo)

I wish a lady of the eighties
I wish a lady of the eighties
I wish a lady of the eighties
I wish a lady of the eighties

Today I search on internet
But I'm only touching myself

Why cant good times come back to me?
I miss those girls, why not miss me

I wish a lady of the eighties
I wish a lady of the eighties

Hi Ms. "Hamend", long time no see! I read at inthe00s that you had some trouble writing this one up. Seems like it--things written in a hurry tend to show that. I won't rate this. I hope you will try Peter's "Dr. Bombay" for the next OWN event. I plan to make good on it and carry it forward with further contributions later.

What Agrimorfee said. Too much kept from the original IMHO. Maybe you'll get a better idea for this song down the road? Sure, the idea behind ONE WEEK NOTICE (or OWN, as Agri apparently just acronymed the whole thing!) is for as many people as possible to post on the same day, but it's not like the original song is gonna be blocked for use here forever after that day (unless we ask Chucky to add that to his thousand-things-to-do-list). :-P

didn't really have an idea other then he's mentioning 80's and has tattoos all over him witch is not an 80's thing. .

Yeah unfortunately I'm in agreement here. The good news is, it paces really well with the original. The bad news is, that's because there's not that much different. But hey! At least you got it done, right? Also: moo? or something

cant wait until I get some good speakers to do some parody videos, but until then I guess I'll just have to stick with writing.
