And until we all believe that, the rich will exploit and denigrate the poor, and pay their workers starvation wages, so that we can't afford rent or mortgages, higher education, or even food. But go ahead and insult those who want to get justice, or at least mercy, for the poor and for the working class. 5-3-4.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! And Melanie - The whole point of this is that throwing more government at a problem is not a new idea, doesn’t work, and has never worked. What does work is believing in the individual’s ability to take responsibility for their own lives. I actually do believe that every person is valuable no matter what - the problem is that when they’re bombarded with messages from all sides that they’re helpless victims, THEY don’t believe in their own value. And they're the one person that really needs to believe in order to change things. It’s tragic. Believe it or not, we really do want the same things, we just disagree on how to make it happen. dumb! AOC's programs aren't free. We pay tax dollars and we should get government services in return. Americans like the writer of this song have been gaslit into thinking we don't deserve anything for the money we pay in except a bloated defense budget and tax breaks for billionaires. That's bulls***. Go AOC! Keep fighting for the people!

While I think this is characature of what AOC says, the sort of opinion you'll hear from people with an axe to grind, it is an extremely good parody (and far more worthy of being read by Ted Cruz in a filibuster than the original :-) ), Definitely the best dem-bashing parody on here for many years, if not ever :-)
